We received our Transformer Table and bench yesterday, and our first impression was very positive. The furniture is beautiful, extremely heavy, and feels exceptionally well-built and sturdy. The packaging was impressive, and I especially appreciated the small box that included the catalog and gift card—it was a thoughtful touch that made the unboxing experience feel a little more special.

Unfortunately, it appears that something happened during shipping. The outer box had been damaged, and whatever caused the damage went through the Styrofoam packaging and left a noticeable mark on one of the bench legs.

Thankfully, this is where Transformer really impressed me. There was a customer service phone number included in the packaging, and I have to admit I usually dread calling customer service because it often turns into a long, frustrating process. This was the exact opposite. I was connected to a real person almost immediately. My representative, Chantelle, was friendly, professional, and clearly explained exactly what was needed to process a replacement.

Within minutes, I received an email outlining the simple steps to submit photos, and just a few hours later I had confirmation that a replacement bench had already been ordered and should arrive within 2–3 weeks.

While it's unfortunate that the bench was damaged in transit, the path to resolution honestly couldn't have been easier. I really appreciated that Transformer respected my time and made the process quick, efficient, and stress-free. Mistakes and shipping damage can happen with any large piece of furniture, but great customer service is what makes the difference. Based on my experience so far, I would absolutely recommend Transformer Furniture.
