I came across JobLeads through an Arbeitsamt (public employment agency) communication, which gave me the impression it was a more official service. I signed up after being drawn in by a free CV/resume assessment offer — which I now realise was part of the onboarding funnel into a paid subscription.
I attempted to cancel the membership shortly after signing up, as the platform quality wasn't what I had hoped for. I'm fairly certain I clicked the cancellation option, but I never received a confirmation email — which, to be fair, was my mistake for not following up. What I didn't expect was what followed: a December invoice, involvement of a collection agency (PAIR Finance), and months of back-and-forth with neither party willing to meet in the middle. Two settlement offers were rejected, and I ended up paying the full €150.99 — including over €80 in collection fees — for a service I genuinely did not use.
I'm not here to speak for everyone — others may have a completely different experience. But mine wasn't good, from the portal quality to the billing dispute process. Just something to be mindful of before signing up.

Thank you for your reply. I want to clarify — I never disputed that the information was there or that your team reached out. My concern is about the lack of flexibility in finding a fair resolution.
Your platform has access to customer usage data. When a customer contacts you explaining they believe they cancelled but may not have completed the process, the reasonable approach would be to verify that claim and, at minimum, consider a negotiated settlement — especially given there was zero recorded usage on my account. Instead, two settlement offers were declined and the full amount, including collection fees, was enforced.
Good customer service is not just about following procedure — it is about exercising judgment when the facts of a situation warrant it. Rigid adherence to policy, without any consideration for the customer's account history or circumstances, is what I found disappointing.
I want to be clear to anyone reading this: my review was not written to discourage people from using JobLeads entirely, but to alert potential customers to be cautious and fully informed before signing up — particularly regarding the cancellation process and how billing disputes are handled.
