Order Early
The website and product selection is good, but shipping/tracking is always a bad experience. Every order I’ve placed has arrived 2 or more days after the first estimate. By now I’m used to it, but it still sucks to think “my books could be here today,” then the arrival is pushed back a day, then another. I’m fine with waiting however long it takes, just be honest please. I once ordered a book as a gift that had to arrive by a certain date, so I ordered it 3 weeks early. It hadn’t shipped after two weeks, so I tried to cancel and was told they were aware of the problem but the order couldn’t be cancelled.

Our apologies for the delay in your order. The estimated delivery date listed on your tracking page updates with each new scan from the USPS and other couriers. If you ever see no update within your order's journey after a few days of it being in transit, we ask that you reach out to report the stalled package to our customer service team by emailing info@bookshop.org. Delays unfortunately occur, but our tracking data indicates that the vast majority of our orders are delivered well within the estimated timeframe given by each shipping method.
