Review of Groupon UK

Their merchant sold me fauty goods

Their merchant sold me fauty goods. They were no help at all in trying to resolve the issue, simply referred me to the merchant, who denied any fault even when confirmed by the manufacturer. Will not buy from Groupon again and have closed my account.

Awful, avoid

Terrible. Sold me faulty trainers, refused to take them back, tried to convince me they were 'supposed to be like that'. I confirmed with manufacturer that they were faulty. Express Trainers still refused to admit they had lied and wouldn't take return. Couldn't be bothered to spend the time taking it further, but would not trust and would not buy from them again.
Update following reply from Expresstrainers.com:
Regretfully, some companies think that faulty items and poor customer service are acceptable. Trainers worn once, both insoles detached from the shoes. Complained. Express Trainers tried to convince me they are supposed to be like that and that style of sketchers has removable insoles. This is not true. Confirmed with sketchers that this style does not have removable insoles. ET still refused to accept this. Nothing mentioned in their reply about attempting to deceive. After many emails and time wasted, three pound refunded to glue them back in myself. This does not excuse or make up for the faulty items, the attempt at deception or buy silence. More than disappointing. Readers of this review can make up their own minds who they believe.

Reply from Express Trainers

Hi,
Regretfully some customers only choose to leave bad feedback to damage a good companies reputation as this is the case here. We refused to take the shoes back as the customer had worn the shoes when he raised the issue of the insoles not being fully fixed in the shoes. The fact is the shoes came from Skechers and we still have stock of the said shoes and while the insoles may only be marginally glued into the sole unit and some with practically no glue at all, the insoles are not of a permanent fixing nature and never have been. We do not lie about anything and we take such libellous comments very seriously. Nothing mentioned either about the fact the customer decided to make the insoles a permanent fixing by gluing them in themselves and us making a refund of £3.10 for any inconvenience caused. Its a sad state of affairs when you have to go to the bother of writing a bad review about a perfectly good company without giving the full details. Very disappointing !
Yours
The Express Trainers Team

All good

All good. No problems. Could have done with more location details from the start and am not keen on the damage deposit waiver fees or damage deposits, but all in all, a good experience.

Did not ring door bell just put card…

Did not ring door bell just put card through door saying they tried to deliver! What kind of delivery service does that? Just unbelievable. When complaining to customer services, they said they would put a note on the delivery instructions to ring the door bell. It's comical! Do these people need to be specifically told to ring a door bell to get the attention of the person inside the house as opposed to just assuming there's no one in without knocking or ringing? Terrible. Will avoid ordering from any obe who uses DPD in future.
