I would not rental a car here. First of all as my prediction I do not get my reserved car model which is Toyota RAV4 you put on your official web site during my reservation process. My friend had a trip to Japan and gets the same car model as they see on the Japan car rental website. Second, I may be wrong that you said on the web site your rental car is good for snowing day since the tire are snow tire; however I pay extra $20 Canada dollar when I pick up my car at your YVR counter because your representatives suggest me to do so. As a result I pay extra 500 Canada dollar for my rental cost. Also, it is a culture issue that you provide me a car with 44 on the Licensee plate; for a Taiwanese it is almost unacceptable number because in our culture 44 means die twice. How can I drive a car with this 44 number. To sum up, this rental experience is a very uncomfortable memory.

First of all, regarding the vehicle model, we would like to clarify that only a vehicle category is guaranteed at the time of booking, not a specific model. This information is clearly stated on our website. The Toyota RAV4 is provided as an example for the category, but it may be replaced with a similar vehicle.
Regarding the additional charges for winter tires, please note that winter tires are included in our rates when they are mandatory in the province of pickup, such as in Quebec. However, in Vancouver (British Columbia), winter tires are not mandatory, which may explain why additional fees were charged locally by the rental company.
Finally, concerning the license plate number containing 44, we fully understand that this may have caused discomfort due to its cultural significance. We sincerely apologize for this situation, even though this type of assignment is unfortunately beyond our control.
