It's quite unfortunate that I have to…

It's quite unfortunate that I have to be the first to write a review, and express such dissatisfaction, as the site appeared promising despite numerous paywalls as a 3 year subscriber.

Simon Spaniard, your on-screen persona contrasts sharply with how you treated me personally, and I possess email correspondence as concrete evidence. It appears that wielding ultimate power on your platform, along with the presence and dealings of many "tosspots," as you termed them, has led to significant agitation and paranoia following mistreatment on your part.

Your initial email didn't originate from your website's domain but from Gmail. Consider who would willingly provide proof of address to a random email request in this day and age. "Do I know you personally? No!" It was entirely within my rights to accept your request on the condition (a process you advocate) that you verify yourself through a live Google Meet, especially given the Gmail address.

Your first response to my request: "Ok, I'll remove you now."

Your final response was even more startling: "You are barred - as I've already explained - how does that fit with your 'theory'? It doesn't! Stop emailing. You are a nuisance. I asked you for verification - you refused. You're gone. Goodbye. We can remove whomever we wish! READ the TERMS!"

Verification was not refused on my part it was you whom refused bambino.

I'm fortunate that neither I nor any of my friends invested in any of your training programs or underwent any time-sensitive processes.

The only commendable action I can attribute to you is refunding a £5 yearly subscription fee six months in. However, decorum and professionalism were lacking, especially considering you initially emailed me from your personal email address rather than your youandyourcash.com address. Even if I had doubts about the identity of the sender, it should have been your obligation to your brand to acknowledge, align, and assure, which you failed to do with distinction.

With that said I’m bard from your site as you stated though I felt you where one of the good ones, checked today. I wish you well on you endeavours. This review will be my testament to your wrongdoing towards me, though I am always open to settle this matter.

We're sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your experience. We have strict House Rules and if people cannot adhere to them then it is an immediate strike out. This is because we have been abused in the past (as you recognise). We are not a company. People apply to join our private platform to access my research. We hope you find what you're looking for elsewhere.

Beware of this platform they take no responsibility

Beware of this Site, when purchasing a Premium Pre-purchase Inspection.

***Check ClickMechanic Response below they have confirmed everything that I have shared here. It would be great for them to actual put this on there first page of there website for transparency.***

This is my second time and this time round I have received 1 star services. The platform takes no responsibility and they hide behind their T&C's which is not a valid contract as you wasn't made aware of the terms therein when making the booking. T&C's only appear on the 4th step in little writing Below the Big [GREEN BUTTON] to complete your booking to make a payment.

Also when purchasing Premium you never get what they advertise on there site 143 Checks! It's carefully crafted to deceive as the disclaimer is hidden at the bottom of the [view checklist] popup window.

'* Please note that it is not always possible for the mechanic to undertake all checks. This may be due to the vehicle not being fitted with certain systems and features, or particular parts or areas of the car not being accessible or not being visible. No refund will be made in these circumstances.'

Or the Mechanic can't be bothered as they are not allowed to lift or take parts of to gain access to see if there is any issues with the car, which i can't seem to find in their terms. So you will never get what you paid for if you're looking for something specifically on there list and non take responsibility for refunds or credits.

Imagine the 3 days later the Dealer done a Pre-Purchase check and found the fault in the area I instructed the Mechanic to view as I had done a lot of heavy research on the car. Complete failure for CM and waste of money. oh and they will use this line...

"Vehicle was how described at time of inspection" but yet they saw the oil leaks and said was a minor but showed no photos and they could get full access.

Hi Cornell,

We are really sorry to hear your unhappy with the result of your booking following the pre purchase inspection

As per our previous responses, as part of the terms and conditions, the pre-purchase inspection is a reflection of the vehicle’s condition on the day. As this is the case the pre-purchase inspection does not include any warranty or guarantee as the condition of the vehicle can change following the inspection by the mechanic.

Please also note, the inspection does not include removing parts (such as the under tray) for further investigation, this is a visual structural inspection.

ClickMechanic is a booking marketplace platform only. Your contract of works, payment, and ultimately, any decision to refund lies with the independent mechanic and not ourselves. In this case, we are unable to recommend a refund on this occasion.

I trust this confirms our final position.

Kind regards

Emily
