I purchased a Global eSIM for €40…
An update: I added one more star as they actually read my opinion and responded. I sent the additional information and now hoping to hear back from them.
I purchased a Global eSIM for €40 because I needed coverage in both Switzerland and Serbia for one week.
I followed all the setup instructions in advance, but when I arrived in Switzerland, the eSIM simply did not work. As I had work commitments, I had to rely on airport Wi-Fi for the three hours I was there.
When I arrived in Serbia at around 3:00 pm, the eSIM finally connected and worked until approximately 11:00 pm that evening.
The following day, however, it stopped working completely. I spent several hours trying to resolve the issue and followed all of the troubleshooting steps provided, without success. At around 12:00 pm, I contacted customer support by email, but I did not receive a response until approximately 8:00 pm.
As I needed internet access for work, I had no choice but to purchase a local SIM card.
Given that the eSIM only worked for part of one day out of the seven days purchased, I requested a refund for the unused portion of the service. The company offered either store credit—which I have no interest in accepting, as I no longer trust the service—or a refund of 248.57 SEK (approximately €22).
What I do not understand is why I am being offered only €22 back when I paid €40 for a service that failed in Switzerland and then stopped working after less than a day of use in Serbia.
Very disappointing experience, especially considering the impact on my work and the slow response from customer support.
