Too little effort in helping shape our vacation
Too little effort in helping shape our vacation meant tons of time in the car driving for hours on end between cities to see little. Domestic flights weren't proposed not because they weren't available, but because India Odyssey lacked adequate support teams (but they didn't bother to tell us that). They didn't recommend some big sites that we were right next to. When we finally flew back to Delhi to overnight before a morning flight, they didn't even think to put us at a hotel near the airport, instead arranging for a 1.5-2 hour drive each way so that we stayed at the in-town hotel we had been at at the beginning of our stay. The tour package was expensive, but had some more thought and effort gone into it, it would have been worth it. Instead, we paid a hefty price to see only a portion of what we could beyond the inside of the vehicle.

Thank you so much for travelling with us in China and India! We are truly sorry that some parts of your India tour with us in October of 2016 didn't meet your expectations. Your valuable opinion has had our greatest attention.
The road condition in India is not good enough and it was not easy for 6hrs driving between Jaipur and Udaipur which we can not avoid it at that time. Fortunately, the domestic flights between these two cities finally been operated since early this year. However we believe that the lovely cities surely minimized your disappointment from the long distance driving.
Airport hotel is a good idea though, what a pity that our consultant has missed out for this part, and we apologize for this thoughtlessness. We believe these little episodes wouldn't ruin your impression of the beauty of India.
We would also like to thank you for your feedback since it is an important reminder to us. Once again, please accept our sincere apologies to you. If given an opportunity in the future, we promise that you will have a totally worthy and pleasant experience with Odyssey since our improvement and we have a deeper understanding of your expectation now.
