Review of EZ Living Furniture

Overall positive experience

Highly recommend to shop here for quality furniture and delivery. It is becoming rare these days to find a company where you can talk to an actual human being on the phone if you have a question about a product or service so that is something that stands out with this company.

Try to exercise your right to cancel ...

HP violated the contract by not sending out ink for months - wasting my time, money and paper for printing. In November-December the dashboard had my colour ink tracker stuck on "running low - ink will be with you in 1 week" for months until I eventually found how to contact their support last week - a virtual assistant - and that was how I got the ink sent out. My ink finally arrived this morning and I decided I would cancel the service - because the service doesn't work, and the website is always slow, buggy and a pain to use to check ink status, etc.
I paid a lot into this service over the years (a member since 2021) - much more in the end than the value of any ink I was sent. So I cancelled this morning, only to then be told I would no longer be able to use the ink that I had paid for!
I sent a message to their support via a different part of the website, a few minutes ago. When I submitted it, they gave me a case number and a phone number to ring. I rang and explained in detail why the service doesn't work, etc, but the person on the other end was no different to a robot with prepared lines no matter what I said. I asked for an email address but she said the case is now dealt with through that phone call. It makes sense that they don't have an email address because then they would have to actually address points in writing. Easier for them to hire someone who can't speak English and no listening skills to receive phone calls. It's an absolute money-making scam. I will never buy from HP again.

Hi Gráinne,
Thank you for your feedback. Instant Ink is a printing plan, not a cartridge purchasing service. If you cancel, the Instant Ink cartridges will stop working at the end of your final billing cycle, and you will be billed for your final payment. At that time, you can insert store-bought HP cartridges from your preferred retailer to keep printing. The printer itself is unaffected by the subscription cancellation but, if still installed, the Instant Ink subscription cartridges will not function.

We're happy to help at 01 533 9860. You can also respond to our request for more information.

Thank you,
The HP Instant Ink Team

A pleasure to buy from, for glasses or any optical supplies (Deliver to Ireland, hassle-free)

I highly recommend this company which I've been shopping with for the past 7 years, for very reasonably-priced yet quality prescription glasses.

Any issues you may have with your order or any questions are dealt with quickly and with consideration for the customer (I did have to return an item just once in those years and it was a simple stress-free, hassle-free experience).

They are US-based, which is fine. Unlike some other companies out there they don't try to mislead people into thinking they are Ireland-based just because they happen to deliver to Ireland.

They have a very wide range to choose from. I have always found their glasses frame measurements to be accurate, consistent and reliable.

Not recommended for prescription glasses

I purchased glasses from here about a month ago.
On the product page for the glasses, the nose bridge measurement given was inaccurate. The prescription etc was fine, but because of this wrong measurement, the glasses didn't fit me at all, so I had to return them.

When I returned them I expected a full refund because the fault was with them for providing the wrong measurement.

There were several emails back and forth. The customer service agent asked me to take a photo of a pair of glasses I had already, with a measuring tape beside them, because it seemed they wouldn't take my word for it that the measurement of the glasses I ordered was off.

As if someone would be returning glasses just for the sake of it, having spent time carefully picking out the glasses in the first place, reading the measurements, assuming them to be accurate, and placing the order. They seem to assume that the customer must be in the wrong for returning them.

Anyway, after the time-wasting emails, they still said, sorry, we can only refund for the frames.

Another way that this company is dishonest is by using the ".ie" extension for their web address - this was what initially drew me to the site, because I naturally thought it was an Irish company. They are not Irish at all - eastern European.

Good day,

We understand your frustration with the nose bridge measurement and the subsequent return process. We strive to provide accurate product information and a seamless customer experience. The measurements in your case were confirmed by both our opticians ,and the manufacturer , so unfortunately , in this case they were correct even if they didn't seem so from your perspective.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the misunderstood measurement and the back-and-forth emails. We value your feedback and will use it to improve our product descriptions and customer service procedures.

We appreciate you bringing the website domain extension to our attention. We understand how this could be misleading thought it is clearly stated on our website where our company is situated. We will look into ways to clarify our website's origin even better.

Kind regards,
Customer Service Team

Misleading tracking

Still waiting for a small item to be delivered which should have been here 3 days ago!
Tracking had it "out for delivery" then that evening said it had only arrived in the country, then went "out for delivery" at 2am according to tracking.
Tracking has nothing on it now, except "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible".
I don't see the point of tracking if it's only to mislead people.
