Not fun for NZ online shoppers

I wouldn’t recommend shopping online if you’re a NZ customer. I chose a dress as a Christmas present that was an online exclusive, based on my measurements I was told to buy a size 18 but that didn’t feel right so I chose the 16. When it arrived it was too big so I needed to return it for a size 14. I took it in store and because it was an online exclusive, I couldn’t get a new size in store which was fine but they also couldn’t refund me because it wasn’t bought on my card and apparently you can’t use store credit or gift cards online so the store is returning the dress for me, then when the refund comes through, I can order the dress again. I’m unlikely to do this because it would require spending another $15 on shipping and frankly, I haven’t enjoyed the experience enough to want to give money to this store again.

Hi Danielle,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, and I’m really sorry to hear about the frustration you’ve encountered. I completely understand how inconvenient this situation must be, especially when you're dealing with both sizing issues and the added complexity of returns.

We strive to make online shopping as smooth as possible, and I’m sorry that this process has fallen short of your expectations. I truly value your feedback and will ensure it’s passed along to our team so we can look into ways of improving our services, particularly for our NZ customers.

Again, I apologise for the inconvenience and truly appreciate your patience and understanding. Please do reach out to our Glam team so that we can look at ways to help! 🖤️

Express Delivery is False Advertising

I ordered a dress from you on the 17th of June and paid extra on shipping to ensure the dress would arrive by tonight (the 24th) at the very latest as I needed for tonight's event. Your website states that express shipping would mean the package would arrive is up to 4 working days.
The confirmation email was sent on the 18th of June so yesterday, on the 23rd, when the package still hadn't arrived I contacted your Facebook staff, they apologized and said they would refund my shipping which I was very grateful for.
However, half an hour ago, when I wasn't home, the post company left note saying I wasn't home so I needed to come and pick up the package during their opening hours - the next one being on Monday at 8am - 3 days after I needed to wear the dress.
The company claims the package needed a signature, which I never requested or needed.
I'm extremely disppointed with both prettylittlething.com and both post companies that handled my package - Aramex in London and Toll in New Zealand.
After just dealing with oohoo.com, who returned my dress before it arrived to me and claimed it was my fault because I must have written the address wrong, I had high hopes for Pretty Little Thing.
The only reason I am not giving you 1 star is because of Amy who I dealt with on facebook for offering to refund the shipping due to the lateness.

Hi Danielle,

I'm so sorry to hear that your parcel hasn't arrived with you on time - we'll get this looked into right away to see what happened with this.

Once the dress has arrived, if no longer required, please feel free to return this for a full refund.

Once it has made it's way back to our returns team in the UK, we'll do all we can to get your dollar back to you ASAP.

If there's anything else we can help with in the meantime, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
