Much ado about nothing.

Progress Software is a small, insignificant company that tries to feign size with a lot of PR.

Its core business is a proprietary programming language and database from 1981, both niche products.

The language isn't even listed among the top 100 in the TIOBE index anymore (as of November 25th). The old developers are increasingly disappearing from the market, and new ones are hard to find.

The remaining customers are mainly occupied with keeping the legacy code running.

Sales in Germany are so low that they refuse to publish them.

I have been a customer of Hypovereinsbank for almost 40 years, but for a long time now I have only been doing the bare minimum. I was always glad not to have to go to the branch because there were often problems with the staff. Now I had a problem with online banking; several transfers were not executed. I was forced to call the hotline. The answer was that I should call the Federal Bank!!!

Wir hatten zwei Karten für BVB geg. FCB bestellt. Teuerste Kategorie.
Bis einen Tag vor dem Spiel waren keine Karten geliefert worden.
Das habe ich dann per email angemahnt. Es kam dann am Abend ein
Anruf und später eine email zurück, die Karten würden im Stadion übergeben. Dass die Karten für verschiedene Blöcke waren war
sehr ärgerlich, wurde aber ja auch nur zu 99% zugesagt. Anders sieht
es bei den einzelenen Karten aus: billigste Kategorie.
Wir haben Frank Schmidt aufgefordert uns den Differenzbetrag
zurückzuerstatten. Keine Reaktion. Die Sache ist beim Anwalt.
Wir werden Strafanzeige wegen Betrug erstatten.
