Founding SVP will build and lead a new Austin manufacturing operation, overseeing facility commissioning, production scale-up, customer delivery, quality systems, workforce growth, governance, compliance, and operating P&L. The role requires extensive manufacturing leadership, greenfield facility experience, precision manufacturing expertise, and board-level reporting. The executive will maintain approximately 75% on-site presence and travel up to 50%, with an anticipated promotion to President and CEO in 2027.

Design and scale highly available backend services for an AI-powered manufacturing platform. Build AWS-based event-driven systems with Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, and database integrations. Use AI coding agents while validating correctness, write tests and documentation, improve observability and reliability, debug production issues, and collaborate with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams. Contribute to technical design, code reviews, engineering best practices, and responsible adoption of AI-assisted development.

Build the venture fund’s deal funnel, investor and founder relationships, and external positioning. Source and evaluate frontier hardware, robotics, automation, aerospace, and industrial AI opportunities; conduct technical and commercial diligence; write investment memos; support portfolio companies; manage LP reporting, pipeline data, CRM ownership, and investment committee reporting.
