What's It Like to Work at Engine?

Engine Employee Reviews

What I enjoy most about being on the Engine sales team is that there's never a dull day. There are always new tools, faster processes, new trainings, and true investment in the sales team from enablement and leadership. When we raise our hand and say there's a feature or training we need, the business delivers. That, plus working for a "sales CEO," is an absolute dream. We are moving up and to the right in so many ways, and it's an absolute blast to play on the winning team.

Being a PM at Engine is intense in the best way. I own my product end to end, move quickly with my engineering and design partners, and work with people who care about getting the right thing out the door. I love building something that takes the pain out of travel; Engine has clear product-market fit, a massive opportunity we’re actually capturing, and a culture that lets me own outcomes and deliver results quickly.

Engineers have real ownership at Engine, that's what I value most here. You're not just handed requirements and told to build; you're expected to question them, shape the problem, make decisions, and own the outcome.

The energy here is electric. We come to grind and work hard, but we've built a place where you're encouraged to be yourself. The work you put in shows up in your results and those results open doors to grow, both in your role and across the company.

Starting as an Account Executive at Engine, I experienced firsthand how the company invests in its internal talent. When I expressed interest in leadership, I interviewed almost immediately and transitioned into a Sales Training Manager role, where I built a comprehensive training program and coached sales teams to success. That foundation paved the way for my next milestone: a promotion to Manager of Account Executives, leading my own sales team. Engine doesn't just offer sales roles, it provides clear, actionable pathways to grow, lead, and advance your career.
