Members of the Skotte Group team were pleased to attend the EPIQ Pathways: Navigating the Infrastructure Landscape event which was focused on career pathways for emerging professionals. The session highlighted career opportunities for young professionals in the infrastructure sector while sharing honest insights into how careers often evolve in unexpected ways. The event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with peers and industry leaders, with open discussion. A valuable experience and a reminder that every career journey is unique. Skotte Group was delighted to sponsor IAQ’s Infrastructure Insights Breakfast with GIICA CEO Simon Crooks. The interest in Brisbane 2032 is huge in Brisbane and it was an important progress update on the Games venues program from Simon. It was also great to hear the views of Eugenie Buckley from Department of Sport, Racing and Olympic and Paralympic Games on the operational and legacy aspects of the Games that are so often overlooked as excitement over venues builds. The breakfast also coincided with our fourth birthday!  In our first four years we have completed over 80 engagements for over 40 clients and it was so good to share this milestone with over 400 attendees - many of whom are friends, colleagues, clients and partners who have shared the journey with us.  In the spirit of building a legacy beyond the Games, we have proudly donated to Sport Access Foundation and The Sports Excellence Scholarship Fund – who support young athletes from challenging backgrounds pursue their sporting dreams with the aim of representing Australia at the Brisbane 2032 Games. At Skotte Group we are committed to the legacy vision and we encourage others to contribute to these organisations to build a meaningful legacy for Brisbane 2032.   We couldn’t have done this without the wonderful Ella Mapleson.
