From the first call till we started the mortgage process, we were supported with the right information at the right moment. We never felt overhelmed by the complexity of this process. The staff is available and the online portal easy and efficient. We definitely recommand Lotte and Viisi Expats for their services.

We bought a house with them as our advisors, it was not our first buying in the netherlands but it was a horrible experience that until now (6 weeks after moving) we are paying for it.

They didn’t care about our interest at all, they didn’t mention to us legally what does it mean to buy a house as it is, fixing many things that was not disclosed during the sale, they let us drown without any knowledge of what is coming a head.

Our previous mortgage advisor told us to check for many things before we sign, but with them they were rushing us to sign without any disclosing of the cons or any transparency.

The person they recommended for technical advising didn’t find out anything for the horrible situation we are stuck in now.

For example: the funda ad said that the house had working appliances, we discovered that they are not, the electrical system had issues and the sewer system is horrible, and for all those things we paid now almost 10k for fixing and when i tried to text them or the makelaar about it they say you bought it as it is and the previous owner cannot be held liable for it.

From a legal point or view this is correct, but this all happened without our mortgage advisor explaining to us what does it mean to buy a house as it is, making us feel all the time that it will be fixed and nobody will scam us.

And now we are suffering the biggest scam just because they never explained well and they just pushed us to finish everything so fast in such a panic.

Working with them left me now feeling scammed, feeling bad, feeling like i was deceived and i wish they had more honesty and put their client interest in more consideration rather than just caring making the sale, for us to sign and for them to disappear.

And when i confronted the person via email about my feedback they said it is out of my job description, which i don’t agree and they should explain more what does the sale ‘as it is’ entitle for us as clients.

Instead of being happy about my new house, I am in a very bad mental health state, extremely worried about my financial situation after those 10k were lost in expanses i had no idea about and don’t know what to do about all of that.
