A weaponized system that helps shady businesses silence honest customersTrustpilot’s verification system is completely broken and heavily favors businesses trying to hide negative feedback. If a company receives a bad review, they can simply flag it and drag out the process until they successfully time the customer out.To make matters worse, if you miss their tight, arbitrary deadlines, Trustpilot permanently locks your review in a "ghost state"—you can see it on your dashboard, but you are blocked from editing it, deleting it, or providing further proof. Then, they use a strict "12-month rule" to block consumers from ever reposting their genuine, documented historical experiences.This platform isn't a transparent review space; it's a paid tool for corporate reputation management. If a business complains enough, Trustpilot will gladly censor the consumer's voice for them. Completely useless for authentic consumer protection.
