Highly Positive Experience
I had a very positive experience staying with Think Cozy for six months at their Brunswick property.
The house is very well located in a safe neighbourhood, close to Sydney Road and with easy access to both tram and train stations, making commuting to the CBD straightforward.
The room and house were exactly as presented in the photos and videos provided. Room 3 was spacious, comfortable, and well suited for a couple. Since each room has a different configuration, I recommend checking the details carefully to ensure it matches your needs.
Despite being a shared house, everything functioned smoothly. I never had issues accessing the kitchen or bathroom, and the housemates were respectful and easy to live with. The common areas are cleaned weekly by cleaners arranged by Think Cozy.
The Think Cozy team was always responsive and clear about what they could and could not assist with. On several occasions, they were very helpful, and I am genuinely thankful for their support. The bond return process after I moved out was also very quick and straightforward.
Overall, I had a smooth and hassle-free experience and would definitely recommend Think Cozy to anyone looking for a temporary home in Melbourne.

Comfortable Home in a Great Location
I had a great experience staying at the Think Cozy house in Thornbury. The room was exactly as described and matched what was shown before moving in, so I knew exactly what to expect.
One thing I really appreciated was the convenience of having everyday essentials provided, including bathroom, kitchen and cleaning supplies. The regular cleaning service for the common areas was also a great addition and helped keep the house clean and comfortable.
Communication throughout my stay was excellent. Any questions I had were always answered professionally and in a timely manner, which made everything easy and straightforward.
The house itself is in an excellent location and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, I had a really positive experience with Think Cozy and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for either a short or long-term place to stay.

I loved the rooms especially, they were extremely Cozy and live up to the name. The location was convenient as well. Landlords and admins were all really nice and easy going people + housemates were all interviewed and kind people. Lovely place to stay.

Excellent professional rental service for working professionals like me.
It is a great option for anyone who wants to avoid the stress and uncertainty that can come with shared accommodation.
The properties are professionally managed, with regular maintenance, cleaning of common areas, and essential amenities such as a dishwasher liquids. They also have a good process which encourages residents to maintain good standards of cleanliness and discipline, which is especially important for people who prefer a tidy, respectful, and professionally managed living environment.
Overall, a great service and a much better experience than a typical room share.

Nice house and good location
The house is perfect and comes with all the amenities. Cleaning supplies, toilet paper, and everything you need for cooking are provided. Cleaning service for the common areas is also included. The owners respond quickly to any issues, highly recommended.

I love living at Thinkcozy. Communication with admin is always consistent and response time is always strong. Rooms are comfy and very comfortable. My bed is literally the best thing ever 😂 definitely want to stay here for a while because of how great living here is! Location is also well placed for public transport. Highly recommend!

Expensive and dishonest agency
Hi,
If you are interested in renting a room from this agency please read carefully before. I’ve been living in their Brunswick house for 6 months, between October 25 and April 26.
At first, the agency seemed very serious and trustworthy. For people like me coming from abroad, the process of getting the room was straightforward and reassuring.
But when I actually moved to the house, I quickly became disillusioned. The only common area is composed of the kitchen and a dinner table, with no window and very bright lightning, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Cameras are placed in the kitchen but also in the corridors. Apparently they serve in case of issues between residents but I would rather prefer not to have them, I felt like being watched all the time.
One day, a resident switched the cameras off because he was also feeling uncomfortable. The agency became very aggressive against him and the week after, one of their staff came without any warning at 9.30pm to knock at his door and to threaten him. Just because he pressed on a switch, they did everything they could to kick him out while he was just a normal and very respectful roommate.
The room was also expensive for what it was. It’s a small room where we can access from the outside backyard. In the winter it can get cold easily, so I had to use the A/C quite often which was very noisy. The A/C exhaust was placed juste next to the room, which was a pain for me when I wanted to sleep. I would say in general that the rooms don’t worth their price
These could be considered as small issues, but the problem came when I asked for help. For small things like items missing in the kitchen or a light that does not work, I have to acknowledge they were available. The agency responds quickly, but if you have a real problem they will be helpless. One time 3 rooms including mine got flooded after heavy rain episode in Melbourne. They did not offer any compensations and when I asked if they could do it, they avoided my suggestions. We removed rugs that were fully wet from the flood and they told us they would wash them and put them back. However, they put the rug back 2 days after, and the rooms were smelling awful, certainly because they didn’t wash them, forcing us to remove the rugs again and to spend rough nights because of the strong smell.
After living this disappointing experience I asked myself why they had so many good reviews. Well, it’s during the room exit process that I understood. Basically they offered me to cancel the cleaning fees that we have to pay when leaving the room only if I put a 5-star review on Google or TrustPilot. They tried to bribe me. I declined and they told me they would still pay me back if I didn’t write any review at all, and they specified I should not mention the flooding episode. I accepted the deal but I’m still writing this review because I don’t want people to be fooled and to imagine Thinkcozy has good reviews because it’s a great agency or whatever. They are basically paying residents and offering discounts if they add 5-star reviews. This is against TrustPilot policy which asks people to confirm they didn’t receive any incentive to write.
You can still think I’m a liar and that’s certainly what the agency will try to convince by replying to my review. But if you’re disappointed with your experience, you will not be able to say you were not warned.

STORM EVENT
On 24 February, a significant weather event impacted Melbourne in the inner city to northern areas.
A storm cell caused a sudden burst of thunderstorms and rains, resulting in flash flooding in numerous areas in Melbourne, including Brunswick.
The sudden deluge affected 3 of our rooms, of which we later learnt was due to the limits of inner city drainage being unable to cope in a once-in-fifty-years event.
Less than an hour of occurrence, our property manager was in attendance on site, together with the property owner himself.
They spent 5-6 hours removing furniture and drying up as the waters receded, even before Kamil returned home. They finished past 9pm.
No personal effects were found damaged, and any wet rugs were then steam-cleaned the very next day.
Unfortunately, our over-enthusiastic cleaner who wanted to promptly restore the room a few days later, replaced the carpet rug into the room when it was still slightly damp after the steam-clean.
We regret that, and apologise on behalf of our cleaning team.
Given the storm and traffic that day, it was the best our property manager, the property agent, and owner could manage.
Such events usually result in numerous call-outs that overwhelm local emergency services (SES).
We are sorry to hear that despite responding in less than an hour of a major storm striking, it was still not good enough for Kamil.
Nonetheless, Kamil did not have to experience any out-of-pocket costs as all cleaning and rectification costs during and after the event was fully borne by ThinkCozy.
We thank Kamil for giving us the opportunity share our stress-tested response rates and deliver the best outcome for our residents.
We wish him all the best as he returns to France.
