Account blocked after requesting a VAT invoice
I have been a loyal customer of Tessiland, with five successful orders already completed on my private account.
Recently, I contacted their customer service to ask how to properly enter my Romanian PFA details with a valid EU intra-community VAT number for my next order.
Instead of professional support, I was told to enter my VAT number but select "NO" to the invoice prompt and request the invoice later by email. As a business customer, I considered this procedure unacceptable because it gave me no certainty that a proper invoice would be issued.
When I refused and requested a proper business invoice issued through the normal checkout process, they simply ended the discussion and completely blocked access to my personal account, locking me out of my order history and data.
When I formally asked why my account had been banned, their official response was:
"The company has reviewed the chat and believes we are not the right supplier for its needs."
In my opinion, blocking a long-standing customer after requesting a proper business invoice raises serious concerns about fair treatment and may not be consistent with the principles of the EU Geoblocking Regulation (2018/302).
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Tessiland to businesses that require transparent invoicing procedures and professional customer support.

your reconstruction of the facts is not accurate.
Our customer service did not refuse to issue an invoice, nor did Tessiland prevent you from purchasing as a business customer.
What was explained to you is that, due to the way our internal system works, the invoice cannot be generated directly during the checkout process in the way you requested. Tessiland issues accompanying invoices through its administrative procedure, which is a fully legitimate and fiscally correct process.
You were informed that you could complete the order and then request the invoice by email, providing the necessary business and VAT details. This would not have prevented you from receiving a proper invoice, nor would it have prevented you from purchasing from us.
The issue arose because you did not simply ask for clarification: you challenged the procedure, accused the company of improper conduct and threatened to leave negative reviews because we could not adapt our system to your personal request.
For this reason, after reviewing the conversation, the company concluded that Tessiland was not the right supplier for your needs.
Blocking the account was not related to your request for an invoice, but to the tone, accusations and threats made during the exchange with our customer service.
We also reject any suggestion that this matter is connected to the EU Geoblocking Regulation. This was not a case of discrimination based on nationality, residence or place of establishment. It was a decision based exclusively on the management of a customer relationship that had become incompatible with our standards of mutual respect and cooperation.
We will forward the relevant chat history to you by email, so that the actual content of the conversation can be reviewed clearly.
Tessiland remains committed to transparent procedures, proper invoicing and professional customer support. However, transparency does not mean accepting accusations or threats when a customer disagrees with a legitimate internal procedure.
For these reasons, we confirm our position: we do not believe Tessiland is the right supplier for your needs.

Too many things went wrong
Package arrived 5/30, but I could not accept it because of unexpected tariff fee, then I could not access order detail/history on website to request refund. The site kept saying there was no order history even when I clicked the link from my email to take me directly to it. I would have really liked to try the yarn, but too many things went wrong.

We understand your frustration, but we’d like to clarify a few important points. Customs duties are not set or controlled by Tessiland; they are imposed by the destination country’s regulations. These fees are standard for international shipments and, unfortunately, beyond our control.
As for accessing your order details: if the purchase was made as a guest (without creating an account), the system will not show an order history. This is noted on our site, and creating an account ensures easier tracking and management of orders.
Most importantly, we’re always here to help. Reaching out to our customer service team would have allowed us to assist you directly and possibly resolve the issue more smoothly.
