Would honestly give a 0 star review if I could. Took them over a month to deliver my shoes with no shipping updates, until I had to email them and finally got my tracking number. Finally my shoes arrived and they were fake didn’t even resemble the real Salomon’s that they promised. Please avoid buying from

I ordered HOKA Mach 7s on 24 April 2026 in a colour that was showing as in stock. I chose this store because they had a discount code and appeared to be based in Melbourne, so I expected quick shipping. Two months later I had a refund but no shoes.

It started well. Late on Saturday 2 May I got an email saying my colour had been discontinued. The owner phoned me the next day and said they'd been trying to reach me, although that email was the first I'd received from them. They asked which colour I'd like instead and offered a free visor to make up for it. I chose Neon Yuzu and a green visor. It was lovely service.

After that, my emails went unanswered and the order didn't ship. On 19 May I contacted them on WhatsApp and found out Neon Yuzu wasn't available either, so I chose a third colour. I was told it would be expedited, would arrive in 8–10 days, and would include a gift for the delay. It came by standard post 21 days later, after three more check-ins from me.

The shoes that arrived were Mach 6s, not the Mach 7s I'd ordered, and there was no visor or gift in the box. The box also had the older "HOKA ONE ONE" branding, which I didn't expect on a current HOKA model.

The online return form included a restocking fee and asked me to pay return postage. Under Australian Consumer Law, a retailer can't charge either when they've sent the wrong item, so I asked for a prepaid label instead. The owner removed the fee and sent the label the same day. It came as a PDF that Australia Post couldn't print at the counter. I don't own a printer, so I had to sign up for a library membership to print it and send the shoes back.

They initiated my refund on 23 June 2026. I then bought the Mach 7s from Rebel Sport for $150, which was $52.50 less than I'd paid Tala, and they arrived the next day.

To the owner: I know what it takes to build a business, and I genuinely wish you well with it. This is meant as constructive feedback. The phone call showed real care, and that's the store I'd love to see more of. Replies to emails, accurate stock levels, following through on what's promised, and an easy return process when the mistake is on the store's side would make all the difference. Best of luck with it.

Customer service was excellent. The runners are super comfortable to wear all day.

I’m disappointed with my experience with TALA and the quality/authenticity of the Salomons I received.

After purchasing these shoes, I became concerned that they were not authentic. I later purchased a genuine pair of Salomons and compared the two side-by-side, and there were several noticeable differences.

One of the biggest differences was the “S” logo on the tongue. On my genuine Salomons, the logo is simply a silver “S”. On the pair I received from TALA, the “S” was inside a silver box with a black “S”. The shoelaces were also noticeably different — the TALA pair had much thinner laces, whereas the genuine Salomons had significantly thicker laces.

The quality was also disappointing. The soles of the TALA pair showed significant wear and started wearing out within only a month, despite normal use. This was another major difference compared with my genuine pair.

I contacted TALA about my concerns and, to their credit, they issued me a refund immediately. I appreciate that they resolved the refund quickly, but that doesn’t change the fact that I received a product that appeared significantly different from the genuine Salomons I later purchased.

I’m sharing my experience so other customers can be aware of these differences and make an informed decision before purchasing

I’ve now purchased two pairs of shoes from Tala Collection, the On Cloudtilt Remix in Orange and the Alo Runner, and I honestly couldn’t be happier.
What impressed me most was how easy and trustworthy the whole online shopping experience was. I was a little hesitant ordering online, but everything was straightforward, communication was great, and the process from ordering through to receiving the shoes was completely stress free.
And the shoes themselves are fantastic. Both pairs are exactly what I was hoping for, great quality and comfortable. I’m really happy with both pairs and would definitely buy from Tala Collection again. Highly recommend!

I purchased what I believed were genuine Salomon shoes from Tala Collection, but the shoes immediately raised red flags. The logo piece was missing from the Quicklace system, which prompted me to question their authenticity.

When I raised my concerns with Tala Collection and specifically questioned whether the shoes were authentic, I was told they were authentic. I then asked them to lodge a warranty claim with Salomon to address the issue. Instead of doing so, my request was ignored, although they did offer a full refund.

Prior to returning the shoes, I visited a Salomon store, where I was advised that the shoes were counterfeit.

I eventually returned the shoes to Tala Collection and received a refund, but that does not excuse the experience. I paid a significant amount of money believing I was purchasing an authentic Salomon product, and I was specifically reassured by the retailer that the shoes were authentic when I questioned them.

The most concerning part was not just the product issue, but how my concerns were handled. If you are spending this kind of money on a branded product, you should be able to trust that you are receiving the genuine article and that legitimate concerns will be taken seriously.

I would not purchase Salomon products from Tala Collection again and would strongly recommend doing your due diligence before buying from this retailer.

After leaving a review on trust pilot and google about my experience, I received a nasty email from the business accusing me of lying and that I was misusing the platform by leaving a review. This is extremely unprofessional and attacking behaviour. I’m simply sharing my experience with Tala Collection.

Such a lovely experience! Their wonderful team offered me such kind customer service and really made me feel heard and valued with an issue that arose, rectifying the situation with ease. I’m highly recommending!

I purchased shoes from Tala Collection when their published policy specifically allowed returns within 7 days for orders shipped into the EU. When I needed to return them, my online request was initially declined as “final sale”. After I referred Tala to their own policy, they accepted the return, provided an Australian return address, and I returned the shoes the day after delivery at my own expense.
Tala received the shoes but refused to refund me. The original objection concerned the damaged shoe box, which had arrived that way after being shipped internationally in only a plastic mailing sleeve. I had photographed the damage on delivery and notified Tala before they received my return. After I provided that evidence, I was told the matter would be addressed as a priority, then received no substantive response for about a month.
When I followed up, additional reasons for refusing the refund were raised. I was eventually told I could pay to have the shoes shipped back or they would be disposed of.
I disputed the transaction with my bank and supplied the original returns policy, correspondence, photographs and tracking. My bank raised a chargeback on the basis that Tala had accepted the return, provided return instructions, received the merchandise and had not refunded me. Tala accepted the chargeback and I received a full refund.
My advice is simple: read and screenshot the returns policy when you purchase, especially for international orders. The policy displayed by Tala subsequently differed from the one applicable when I purchased, and having retained the original policy and correspondence was important when resolving my dispute.
The shoes themselves weren't the problem. The returns and refund experience was.

Last year I bought a TShirt from Tala collection its called the Contour, I wear it more than once a week, constantly washing it and it is still like the day I purchased it.
So I just bought 2 more.

Whilst I was super excited about my new pair of ASICS nimbus turning up I was a little disappointed that they were not the right size. After a quick email notifying TALA they got right onto it and my new shoes were here within a few days. Very happy with the service and product, will definitely order more.
