I booked Zerorez for a ‘move-in’ carpet cleaning a month before I was scheduled to move. We discussed at length the layout of the condo (including the stairs) and that I would have to pay for a portable machine since they would be unable to run a hose to my unit. The day before the scheduled cleaning I was told they could not clean the carpet on the stairs with the portable machine, which contradicted what I was originally told. The scheduler was extremely rude and the appointment was cancelled leaving me to find another service that day. Do not use these people; they are unreliable.

This time this company was horrible. Representative showed up and we went over services and agreed on price. I thought all was ok? He went to his truck to mix ingredients and got into his truck and left and never came back. He never called back and his boss never called back. I have never seen anything so horrible before in my life. My home was left in a mess as I had followed all of their recommendations and had vacuumed and moved everything as they had asked. I will never use or recommend Zerorez again, I found a new company today called Clean Investment and they had a cancellation and was able to do my carpet this afternoon and they did a wonderful job! I have found a new carpet cleaning company!

I have been trying for weeks to schedule carpet cleaning at my home and have used this company with satisfactory results in the past but cannot reach them to schedule. They never answer a phone call and do not call back. They don't even answer a text message. How can they stay in business with such terrible customer service?

The technician, 'Q', provided 1st in class service from the time he arrived until completion of service. He displayed a very pleasant attitude when reviewing the work order with me and insured I understood and was in agreement with the planned services. I have to say the carpet looks GREAT. I will surely use ZEROREZ in the future. KUDOS to 'Q'.

This is the second time we using zerorez to clean my carpeting they do an amazing job the staff is so nice and so pleasant to work with.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Things were bad from the start when the tech arrived to take away some area rugs for onsite cleaning. He started by making a bunch of excuses why the rug probably wouldnt come clean. It didnt get clean. I had another rug that really wasnt that challenging and it still had the same spots. This was my first and last experience with zerorez. If you want clean carpets and rugs, pass this company by. Thumbs down!

The carpet cleaning went very well. Our technician was very professional. I only rated this a four star because the lack of communication in returning carpets that I had cleaned at their store and the time that we rescheduled to have them delivered after being cleaned, they did not show up in the time designated so we had to call the main office. Who then let us know he’ll be late. Also, the carpets that I had them clean at their store. We were told it would only take two weeks after the two week period and into three weeks and longer we had not heard from anybody so we had to call the main office again to find out what happened to our carpets.

I had an appointment for carpet cleaning today. Had my furniture moved in preparation.
I was awaiting their arrival when I received a call that they had to cancel my appointment.
I asked if another technician could come out today or tomorrow. I was informed they only have one technician. This is ridiculous!
Then they could reschedule for Friday, and waive the service fee. No ma’am.
So, I called a well known carpet cleaning company in Irmo and they had a cancellation for tomorrow. Thank goodness.

I will never call this company again.

I had a Zerorez appointment scheduled for May 21 to clean my living room carpet. Earlier in the day, I had contractors working in my home, so when Zerorez called, there was background activity and I answered on speakerphone.

The conversation started awkwardly, with repeated “hello?” exchanges back and forth several times. After multiple attempts, I said something along the lines of, “Can we get through the hellos and move on with the conversation?” I was admittedly frustrated by that point, but I was not yelling.

The representative immediately responded that he could cancel my carpet cleaning appointment “for yelling” at him. I explained that I had not yelled and was only frustrated with the communication issue, but after he repeated the comment, I chose to cancel the appointment myself.

What surprised me most was that two contractors in my home overheard the entire exchange and independently commented afterward that they did not think I had raised my voice or behaved inappropriately.

This experience left me disappointed enough to try another company. I hired Stanley Steemer instead and had a very different experience; professional customer service and, notably, they were able to remove two stains from my white carpet that Zerorez had not successfully removed during previous cleanings over the last couple of years.

Based on my experience, I personally would choose Stanley Steemer again for both customer service and carpet results.

He was very professional and nothing was too much for him.
He also managed to get rid of some stubborn stains - which was great.

I have been a loyal customer for roughly six years. That ends today. In February 2026 I scheduled to have my carpets cleaned which also included a promotion for a $50 gift card to a restaurant. Upon completing the cleaning I asked the tech if I would be receiving the gift card he told me yes. After waiting for roughly a month I never received the gift card. In March I called and was told that I should have received the gift card within 30 days and they would send my name and address the the women over gift card and give it another 30 days. After another 30 days I have called 5 times over the last week. Each time I'm told I will hear from a manager by the end of day. I feel deeply disrespected and unappreciated as a customer. I will never recommend or support a company that does stand by their word or even have the common decency to call me back. All I have received is the run around. I'm going to encourage everyone and leave reviews on other sites as well to never contact or request service from a company like Zerorez. I'm highly disappointed.

Only carpet cleaning I will use in the future . He was on time, Professional and did a beautiful job. My carpet looks brand new. Justin was wonderful.

1. They will quote you one price and charge you another without notice or consent.

2. They solicit cash payments on site, bypassing standard invoicing and leaving no verifiable paper trail.

3. Additional services and charges are introduced after payment has already been collected, not before.

4. Time-sensitive instructions communicated clearly and repeatedly to multiple representatives will be ignored.

5. The quality of work delivered does not reflect the process and capability they describe during booking.

6. When confronted with a complaint, their first response is to deflect accountability rather than offer a resolution.

7. Their proposed remedy for poor service is a second attempt at the same job, with conditions placed on the consumer to accommodate them.

8. Household members who were not part of the original agreement can be pressured into charges they did not authorize.

9. Their curated online presence does not accurately represent the experiences of their actual customers.

10. A pattern of this conduct exists beyond this single experience, confirmed by reviews outside of platforms they control.

We at Sugar land Music School have always had a great experience with Zerorez Carpet Cleaning. It is quick and easy to schedule an appointment and the team is always punctual, professional and efficient. They do an excellent job overall.
One thing I really appreciate is that they use a special technique in their cleaning process, so there’s no sticky residue left behind on the carpet. You can actually feel the difference—my carpets stayed cleaner longer instead of attracting dirt again quickly,despite the heavy foot traffic at the school.
Another big plus is that there’s no overpowering chemical smell afterward. The carpets just feel fresh and clean without any heavy scent, which is great.
I would definitely recommend Zerorez to anyone looking for a more effective and residue-free carpet cleaning.

The customer service was exceptional! Nathaniel came to clean my carpet and he was on time along with providing me what the process was going to be. Carpet looks great! We will be using them in the future for sure!

Our two bedroom carpets were cleaned Feb. 9th. They came out fine. The next morning, I went out my front door to see a large stained area with a salt-like residue on it. This is where the hose came into the house. It may have had a leak, though the tech denied that. I washed it down, but the stain was prominent. I called Zerorez and a different tech was sent out to power wash it. There was no effect. He said someone could put a solution on it to absorb what made the stain. No one came out for 4 business days, and when I called every day, the operator was very apologetic and said he would tell the manager. My original tech then came out and put the solution down, telling me to wash it away in 8 hours. He later texted me back and said someone would be out to do that instead. No one showed up. Then I texted the original person again who said he had been told by his manager that someone would wash it. I asked if I should just do it. He said yes, but after I did, with even scrubbing it, it left a white residue. I called, and the operator, Samantha, took my message and gave me the manager’s name of Suzanna Sierra. She never called me back either. I guess Zerorez doesn’t take responsibility for anything, thinking that two things that were tried on my walkway would be enough, but the problem wasn’t resolved. They have left us hanging.

Let me tell you. While I may have had some issues with staff, Dexter the service provider is beyond excellent. I'm a woman and being at home when people you don't know are in your house can be challenging at times...not super scary, but you want to feel safe. Dexter made me feel safe from the very beginning. You know how sometimes you get a gut feeling about people, well I got a great one about him. He was so friendly, professional, polite and communicated with great clarity. If you have to get anything done... you should request DEXTER. You won't regret it!!!

Refused to move a 1ft x 1ft plastic box to clean under it.
Cleaning system is horrible. They blew black fuzz under my bed and other areas.
NOT RECOMMENDED.

**Stanley Steamer will scoot light pieces of furniture, clean the area and put styrofoam blocks under to protect the furniture, till the floor dries.
Stanley Steamer is much better.

We have used Zerorez multiple times to clean our living room carpet, but this time it was cleaned exceptionally well… Stephen was meticulous with his work, and our carpet looked almost new when he had finished… highly recommend Zerorez and more specifically, Stephen….
