A Mafia company!!!! The most disgusting company I've even come across. LI'm visiting my family in Italy and they missed a bill payment in the summer for an admin problem. Despite paying all other billed after that they slowed the internet dow to a level you can't even use it. Now that the problem was identified and the bill was paid, they said it would take 48 hours for the internet to be reinstated. Which company punished a client who regularly pays his bills but misses one for an admin problem? It doesn't happen in any other country in the world. Where on earth is the customer service here. I can see complaints here are only from foreigners as Italian are used to the slavery system and lack of customer service in Italy. The attitude here is: "that's the way it is here".  And that's with eveything.  But, as an Italian, I believe Italians should demand more and complain more until things change in this country. And companies should have ethics and customer service.

Pagano sempre la bolletta regolarmente, non hanno pagato una bolletta in estate per un disguido. Tim ha rallentato internet al punto che e' inutilizzabile. Avendo individuato il problema, la bolletta e' stata pagata e la Tim ha detto che bisogna aspettare 48 ore per riavere internet. Ma che razza do compagnia punisce un cliente cosi' per un disguido. Non accade in nessuna parte al mondo. E nessuno si lamenta perche' gli Italiani sono abituati al disservizio. E' assolutamente uno schifo!!!!!

Horrible experience. They overcharged multiple months and I was not able to produce that I did not sign up for the services they credited to me. No customer service whatsoever. When you call the customer support line, most times you will get a bot. On rare occasions when a human answers, they don’t care about helping you at all. I switched to Iliad after a year of suffering through this and couldn’t be happier.
TIM store on level 1 at the Termini…
TIM store on level 1 at the Termini train station told us no Guibileo sim card in store only on line. So she sold us 150gb data, unlimited calls in Italy and 100 minutes international. To find out the next day we could not call Canada so we went back the next day and she told us Canada was not included in international countries. The most ridiculous answer I heard. So we left and saw another TIM store in the lower floor and decided to check with the store clerk, and asked if we could buy the Guibileo sim card in store and he said yes. So we knew the clerk on level 1 was lying and charged us more for a card that did not include Canada int'. AVOID TIM STORE LEVEL 1 at the Termini train station.

I would get this company a zero star unfortunately I have to give it at least one an absolutely diabolical company. They couldn’t even run a cold bath three days in a row where my Internet has been cut off and I’m still not even getting the speed that I was promised, I’ve run Speedtest through the app and for a separate app and the Tim app is lying. I can’t believe a company notice is ripping off people and getting away with it. i’ve never felt so strongly about this, but I really want people to read this and never use this company.

Refused to give me a refund on a faulty and unusable mobile phone purchased in Venice because it was "shown working in store" - even though the display completely died a few hours later! Awful company - extremely rude staff members and no contact details online to send my complaint to.
Shocked to see their TP score and the fact that they don't even respond to negative reviews.

I bought the eSIM online before arrival I Rome. At the Rome Termini station I went to the TIM store showed her my PIN number I received by email and without hesitation she activated my phone. She even suggested an actual SIM card for free. The phone worked as soon as I turned it off and on again. 
Great service and all with a nice smile. Despite being as busy as they were.  I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. 
TIM resorts to ILLEGAL practices to attract customers!
They keep spamming me, inspite of the fact I am in the "Registro delle opposizioni" which makes their spamming ILLEGAL!!! They also keep calling me telling me my current provider (they know which one it is, which means someone in my current provider sold them the information. Another ILLEGAL activity!!!!) has problems in my area, and I should switch to TIM. They don't tell me they are TIM, they tell me they are an independent operator, but they always recommend TIM. Another ILLEGAL activity. 
Conclusion: TIM resorts to ILLEGAL practices to attract customers! A DISGUSTING company!!!
A disgusting company to deal with
A disgusting company to deal with. Our house in Italy has been without internet since last December and despite multiple calls, many from our Italian neighbours who speak better Italian than us, we have been the victims of lies regarding visits from technicians who never appear. Yet we have been paying for this non existent service for the past 8 months. Edited to add that 2 days after posting this review we finally had our cable repaired.
Absolutely garbage company
Absolutely garbage company. It's impossible to contact and operatator from website, app, email, even going to the shops. Stay absolutely away from this company
They kept charging once cancelled.
Just like most people here, I hate this god forsaken company and their criminal practices. There should be a class action lawsuit against them for the fraud they commit. I have written another review here already about them, but I want to report that, after closing my account with them, cancelling my subscription at the time of contract renewal, which should be free as I'm chosing to not go with them for another contract, they charged me, I paid. Then they continued to charge me every month thereafter. Fortunately, despite being told that the account was indeed closed and that I wouldn't be charged again, I had the foresight to expect that to be wrong, and it was! I blocked them from taking payments from me via my bank and I see, after 7 months, they have finally stopped trying to steal from me. Avoid these thieves, these con-men, scumbag criminals at all costs.
Awful service
Set up wifi, which took a while but it finally worked for 4 months. Then nothing. Went in person and paid twice and still nothing. Now I find out they have been charging me for a service I did not have. They are sending me legal letters saying I owe them. No way to contact them as the app asks for your TIM mobile and my mobile is not TIM. No email so really taking my money and not giving me service and asking for more money when all I want to do is shut down the service. I would never use them again.
SIM activation fee, that looks like an in-person scam
When getting a TIM sim card at the TIM  Milano Centrale outlet, was charged €25 for activation (in addition to €5 for sim card itself, which looks valid).
In the receipt, it was itemized as a SCREEN PROTECTOR FILM (which I neither asking for nor got)

I used TIM for 15 months while living in Italy. After many attempts via their horrible online chat, I was able to get confirmation of cancellation of service due to my moving out of country. I sent the modem back per their instructions (and had proof). This scandalous company continues to charge me modem rental fee even though I have proof of delivery! Now that I do not have an account with them, there is almost no way to contact them, and because my Italian is not very good, when I call I get zero help. Stay away from this company, I do not recommend using them.

Ho usato TIM per 15 mesi mentre vivevo in Italia. Dopo molti tentativi tramite la loro orribile chat online, sono riuscito a ottenere la conferma della disdetta del servizio a causa del mio trasferimento all'estero. Ho rispedito il modem seguendo le loro istruzioni (e ne avevo la prova). Questa azienda scandalosa continua ad addebitarmi il costo del noleggio del modem nonostante abbia la prova di consegna! Ora che non ho un account con loro, non c'è quasi modo di contattarli e, poiché il mio italiano non è molto buono, quando chiamo non ricevo alcun aiuto. State alla larga da questa azienda, non la consiglio.

Solo stamattina già 4 telefonate registrate da call center che chiedono di approfittare di "offerte speciali solo per te".

Weak cyber crime protection
TIM has been unable to resolve an identity theft issue for over six months, causing my family significant financial hardship. A thief has opened telephone lines under my partner’s name and made numerous charges that TIM expected us to pay. Despite strong evidence and known identity of the thief, TIM has still not resolved the matter. I strongly caution everyone, foreigners especially, to reconsider joining TIM’s telephone plans, as customer service is poor and clearly the company does not have adequate privacy and cyber protection mechanisms in place. The customer is always wrong until proven otherwise-best way to describe TIM.
No support for you if you cant speak italian
To get any service or support you have to call, no way to write in chat (a ai bot is not helping) no email, no messaging system in their app - nothing. 
I am going to switch to fastweb only because I want to change my address for the fiber internet, and on the phone they hang up when I speak in english. 
Even tried to go to a tim store - they just told me to call, cant help me. 
Also before I had residency they told me I will have a temp cellular internet at home which will be connected to fiber when i get residency, guess what, they lied, I paid full price for cellular internet and then full price for fiber modem.

Avoid signing any business contract with TIM.
TIM  charges you for various issues, and once you're locked in, it's nearly impossible to cancel the contract through their stores. Emails go unanswered, and they pressure you into making payments regardless of the situation. The staff actually hung up on me numerous times.
You may end up needing legal help just to cancel and break free from them.
I'm speaking from personal experience — I’m currently dealing with TIM through a lawyer
Despicable staff …
Some little staff member had the audacity to swear at me and then put the phone down on me. I am trying to trace her because I will take her to court for defamation and hold TIM responsable. Does anyone know which office this number responds to .......062691244. Would be great before I post this on social media for dome manager to contact me ASAP
