Ridiculous
Ordered 2 kettle bells - they didnt deliver and now they need two weeks to investigate where my package is. I suggested they send out new ones so I didnt have to wait. They refused.

I've never seen company thats soo blocked for progres and improvement.
I've worked there for 3 years. All my ideas were shut down because of involving in "swedish concept".
If You want to progres on life then dont work there.
If You re looking for cheap stuff without spare parts in stock, then you can buy something.
Products (Förvaringshylla) were as described. But (customer) service is not working in my case. Can't recommend the pick up service in the shop (Hämta i varuhus) and the postal delivery neither.
Hämta i varuhus: According to the webpage the goods should be available and ready within 2 hours in Umeå. I ordered 24 hours before i wanted to pick up the goods. No confirmation after 2 hours. Got an email the next day that I can cancel the order or get the goods shipped from the warehouse. Tried a 2nd time. No success.
According to customer service the online stock is not up to date and it can take longer to prepare pick up orders because the stuff is very busy.
So i decided postal service. Fee was reasonable. Delivery time 2-5 working days. plus additional 7 working days because they are low on staff due to the summer holidays ?? Most of the parcels arrived demolished because they were not packed for transport, but in the shop packing (thin plastic and thin carton). Some Einstein put just a label on top and shipped it. Shelves were broken and metal parts scratched and bent.
Customer service told me I should keep the goods because they are usable and I get some compensation. But I loose my customer rights if I accept the compensation. WTF ??
Shopping in the shop yourself is OK. You can look and decide if the quality is what you want. But stay away from delivery and "Hämta i varuhus"
Disappointing Experience with Product Quality, Delivery, and Customer Service
I’ve encountered three major issues with my recent purchase and experience at Jula.
1. Delivery Delays and Poor Communication:
The online delivery was significantly slower than expected, and the information provided about delays did not match the actual situation. The delay was much longer than what was communicated, which was frustrating and inconvenient.
2. Faulty Product Design and Disputed Responsibility:
I purchased a Jordfräs 2.5 kW 40 cm, which failed within the first hour of use. The bolts attaching the handle shaft to the main unit snapped. In my opinion, this was due to a manufacturing defect, the bolt holes after closer inspection appeared misaligned by about 7 mm , causing uneven stress during use on some bolts. Although I hadn’t used the product immediately after purchase (about 5 weeks), when I returned it for repair, the service center claimed it had been incorrectly mounted by me and charged me for the repair, which, unfortunately, did not resolve the original issue of the misaligned bolt holes and the attaching plate sitting not straight. I followed up with customer service to contest the outcome, but the matter has not been resolved to date. It will move to an independent national adjudication process fir resolution.
3. Customer Service Lacking in Support:
The customer service experience has been disappointing. Responses to emails have been selective and some key concerns were ignored. When asking about quality assurance, repair processes, and repair staff qualifications, the responses leaned heavily on legal disclaimers rather than directly addressing the concerns or helping to find a solution. Even though the store acknowledged the issue in person, they were unable to act, redirecting everything to the central customer service team. However informing me it there will be no issues as the fault is so obvious and visible. They got that wrong, but the staff at the store are fantastic and always have been.
Final Thoughts:
While the prices may be attractive, in this case, the saying "you get what you pay for" seems to apply. Between the product quality concerns, lack of accountability, and unhelpful customer service, I’ve decided to shop elsewhere in the future, at retailers where both product reliability and customer support are taken more seriously.
I wrote previously about the delay in having a garden storage shed delivered. When eventually it arrived and when unpacked, it proved to be damaged and its quality was poor. Unfortunately I needed to use it as other issues depended on it and so, reluctantly, I assembled and filled it. Suffice to say that the Keter Store it outside Max is not worth the money (2999SEK) and, indeed, as I lodged my complaint with Jula, they reduced its price to 2499SEK.
I was given a gift card for 700SEK by Jula - allegedly a proportion of what I had spent.
The Jula customer service in this instance was indifferent - slow, a take it or leave it approach, which does a company of its size no credit at all!
I shall soon spend the 700:- plus whatever "bonus" I have earned and then CAREFULLY AVOID SHOPPING IN JULA thereafter.
I ordered a garden storage box (2999SEK + delivery fee) on 6 May. Delivery was supposed to be in1-3 working days, according to the confirmation email I received on 09 May. On 14 May, Jula failed to complete the credit card transaction, thus my money was released back to me.
When I queried Jula’s customer service I was told they were having central warehouse issues and delivery (and/or dispatch, this was quite vague on Jula’s part) was now taking up to 14 (working) days. I was also told that when they came to deal with the order, they would re-debit the card and that the order was still ”current”.
Jula opens 7-days a week, so for them one presumes, every day is a working day, even for their warehouse staff.
When I called today (18 May) to see if there was any progress at all, I was told they had amended their website (on 05 May) to advise of dispatch/delivery delays. I say with a large measure of cynicism “what a pity I failed to notice that, especially in their confirmation mail to me 4 days later - I must be more careful in future”. Anyway, they cannot give me any indication of when my garden box might arrive, except a generalised and cautiously non-committal expectation that I should get it (maybe) at the end of this coming week but they estimate delivery in working days and since the agent didn’t see anything on the order file he thought the credit card thing would go through ok.
Highly disappointing performance by Jula so far - and if it wasn’t for the delivery to the door option, (I don’t have a sufficiently large car to do an in-store purchase) I would look elsewhere as I have seen the exact item with a price tag 750SEK cheaper than Jula.
I’ve given them 2 stars for their performance so far, but that could drop to one if this silliness continues.
I’ll write more later when there’s something to report and a final star rating to give.
If you have a question about a product, there is no one to answer you. There were only two working in a large store.
Jula is my go to shop for pretty much anything that they offer, I prefer them over the rest of the shops that sell similar things, I have worked with their customer support which has always been kind and always helped me out mostly no questions asked.
Really poor cash-system always waiting in line
Reasonable prices and shows accurate reviews on the website. Good inventory.
Whats your öppet köp means, poor return policy.. I bought the gersåg which cuts really bad and when I went to return it the customer care was very rude and said that you must shop online then only we can return it, else we cannot.. its in perfect condition and used only few times and I found that its not upto standard.
I strongly advice to not enter an agreement with Jula Club and their credit system. They are purposely ripping customers off by ONLY providing paper invoices via snail-mail, which they won't send to you and then bill you extra interest and fees!
This happened to me, and even after contacting them several times, they insist on me paying extra fees even I did not receive any invoice, nor a notification of lack of payment.
PROS: Economical and good range of product
CONS:
^Worst & ultra conservative online ordering system
^Super slow support
^2 weeks min to answer email
^Does not take review in English
^No free delivery when ordering for higher than a particular amount like everyone else
^credit systems are tricky to figure out
^Insists on paper fraktura
The service is terrible, I bought bicycle first of all I have to fix it and then we find out there is no tools to fix it, such a shame for a company like this in sweden, at list put correct instruction or teach your staff to how to make it for customer.
Now I have to take it to bicycle shop, and pay more to somebody fix it for me and check the wheels.
Shame.
They staff in Norrtälje do a great job to help us. If we have product issues they help sort it out. Low priced items with ok quality
