Had a shocking experience with Instaloft the sales guy was great and talked me through the process and sketched how everything would look on a plan.

From there that’s when it all went wrong.

1, Screws through ceiling where missed the timber sticking through on show.

2, loft hatch fitted in wrong position even though they had the plan that the sales guy had done.

3, was fitted wonky not square with the room.

4, not fitted level with the ceiling.

5, guys on day of installation were like kids messing around.

Installation was of poor standard and they didn’t even finish the job me and my partner decided to not have them back as there was such a mess. Now we are dealing with the customer services team that are even worse, they don’t care how much they messed up and are just blaming us because we have had the issues rectified by a third party. As there service team leader who was dealing with the issue went on holiday and nothing got dealt with.

They told us the ladder was in a temporary position but they fitted the architrave lol which multiple joiners have told us that’s the finishing touches and they tried to blag us saying the architrave is for safety.

Even though stressful I’m sitting here laughing at the incompetence of this company we have even had invoices demanding payment when they won’t even acknowledge the shoddy work that has been carried out by cowboys..

Survey and quote (accepted) on Thusday, installation slot became available the following Saturday (Bank Holiday weekend). One man, 5 hours - done. Electricts on Wednesday. Less than a week. Everything done really well, without fuss or mess. The installation (flooring, shelving, larger loft hatch, light) is everything I hoped for, and more. The step area to make access up to the raised flooring was totally unexpected, but essential.

The installers were very quiet, neat and tidy. Other than the obvious changes there were no signs that it had only just been done.

I had had a quote from another company, but their installation method was not as good, just 1 year guarantee (lifetime with Instaloft), and more expensive!

The whole process from initial contact to final payment was smooth. I would certainly recommend Instaloft for your loft flooring and shelving.

I am disappointed with both the installation and the handling of my complaint by Instaloft.
My concerns relate to the reduction in loft headroom following installation and the quality of the flooring finish. Despite raising these issues through the formal complaints process and providing supporting evidence, I do not feel my concerns were properly addressed or investigated.
Whilst Instaloft has now closed the complaint internally, the dispute remains unresolved from my perspective. An inspection was offered only after a significant delay, by which time the loft had been fully utilised for storage, making access impractical.
I respect that Instaloft has reached its conclusion, but I remain dissatisfied with the outcome and the lack of a mutually agreeable resolution. Prospective customers should ensure that all specifications, measurements and expectations are documented clearly before proceeding.

I had my loft installed 2 years ago. When it started to show signs of wear and tear, I decided to give insta loft a ring.
I rang them last Monday and they arranged to install a new one today which is also Monday.

Shabiah was the young man that installed hour replacement loft.
He finished it in less than 2 hours and left the area nice and clean.

I have to say this is the first time I have had five-star service from any company within the last 2 years. A big thumbs up to insta loft. Will be recommending

Very good first meeting without any pressure to upgrade our request for a replacement loft hatch. Workman arrived on time and completed job on his own (despite height of ceiling and weight of new hatch) and the company also ordered a longer Tee pole to help me reach the hatch door safely. Very happy with the final result.
