Our poor golden retriever puppy has not…
Our poor golden retriever puppy has not had the best start in terms of food sensitivities and we have really struggled for months to find a food that suits her. Now 8mths old and losing weight due to her tummy issues- i came across Essential Foods and I am blown away at how settled her tummy is! We are still in the transition phase but so far so good and really hope she continues to thrive and put on some weight! Packaging fab, quality fab and love that that they really have thought of everything- even down to storage containers! Im so glad tjat i can shop in one place for all her needs and that the ingredients look to be good quality. Really pleased, thank you essential foods 🙂

Love it!
We tried Essential based on a recommendation and were not disappointed. Our Cockador absolutely loves the food as it's gone in seconds! We had tummy issues with previous foods we've tried and these have resolved with Essential. It's so easy to order and delivery was really quick; happy family all round!

You cannot go wrong with Essential foods
Essential Foods are pretty amazing in my opinion. I once had an order delivered to the wrong address and, after emailing them, Essential replied very promptly. They made sure I was able to get my order back and reassured me that if I couldn’t, they would replace it.
Considering Essential isn’t as well known as I think it deserves to be, their customer service is genuinely 5 star ⭐️
I’ve had my dog on Essential kibble since I first got her as a puppy in 2020 and I’ve always been really impressed with the quality. She has allergies too, so finding food that suits her isn’t always straightforward, but she’s done really well on Essential.

Fussy Dachshund
We have been feeding our very fussy dachshund from the Essentials range for a number of years now and he loves it. We feed the Contour range as he is a little podgy but he loves his food. We also give him the dental sticks and various treats from the range and so far all have gone down well with Ronnie.

My initial contact with this company…
UPDATE....My little ole girl (Jenny) has taken to her new food and absolutely adores it., working her way thro' all the samples. Having said that, her appetite has never been lacking, & has a cast iron system (unless she's ill). She's the total opposite to my boy (Bob) who is picky & sensitive in the extreme.
One very interesting observation is, Jenny had a slightly weeping eye, plus her nose was was very dry & cracked (was treating both). Since transferring her over to Essentials her eye has almost dried up and her nose is looking a whole lot healthier...all in about a week!
Bob continues to thrive and his whole mental & physical health is massively improved.

My initial contact with this company was on line chatting to their nutrition expert. A really positive and helpful experience which led me to place my first order.
I have a 5 Yr old rescue boy who is extremely picky, but also has a very sensitive system, plus a few emotional problems.
My order arrived very promptly, beautifully packed & presented, with assorted samples and chews we had not expected. The whole pack just screamed quality!
We have now been on this food (Nautical Living) for a week. In this short time he has eaten every meal offered (in itself a miracle), and I can already see a difference in his physical condition, plus his adrenaline spikes are not as intense as they were.My boy had beautifully white teeth but recently I noted they had taken on a dullish hue, despite us having a regular tooth hygiene protocol. Since feeding the new food (previously a semi moist version), they are whitening up again....To say I'm impressed with this food so far is an understatement, and have decided to put my little ole rescue girl (12 yrs) onto it as well, (regardless of the fact we had only just opened a bag of a different brand food!!) Now needing a new home.😄 We have certainly been converted to Essentials.
At first glance it may seem this food is rather expensive, but I have found a lot less is needed than on the bag, and the proof is most definitely in the eating. Happy to pay for the best of the best.
My only regret is that I didn't listen to the friend who recommended it a whole lot sooner.🥰
