Doesn't comply with EU tax schemes

They kept refusing my tax document where over 20+ platforms have been accepting it, and they have been charging me extra fees that I shouldn't be paying.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We understand this can be frustrating, but Equito is legally required to comply with Spanish and EU tax regulations.
The rental income you receive through the app is treated as interest from a participative loan for tax purposes. For non-residents, Spanish law requires a valid Tax Residency Certificate from your country of origin. We cannot accept other documents because this specific certificate is what Spanish tax authorities require to apply the correct withholding rate.
Without it, we're obligated by law to apply standard withholding tax, which may result in higher deductions than you'd see on platforms operating under different structures.

Own real estate for as little as €100!

Buying real estate require a lot of money and you need to take a lot of admin hurdles.
Equito allows me to buy fractions of real estate via tokens. The only thing I have to do is deposit money, pick the property and it’s done. I’m now receiving passive income on the rental of the property, plus value of the property goes up.
I’d like to call it next gen investing.
