Good for the price you pay
Good for the price you pay.
There are many different rooms, the news one are nice, nothing special I would say.
The location is really good, near to the airport and close to the main attractions/nice spots (~20min by car).
The restaurants are not so nice, but also not too bad! For Europe standards we can say that the meals aren’t super good, but at the same time you have a variety of type of foods to try out! There are also 3 restaurants with limited access (one time only for free) and the meals there are slightly better the at the main restaurant.
The beach is not at sea level, but is at higher and made of imported sand. At the front of “the beach” there are rocks and corals, you can swim and see the corals using a small floating bridge that brings you to the small reef (nothing special). But if you want to enjoy snorkeling or scuba-dive there are many beautiful place in the area.
Sports: we got sad when we knew there wasn’t a tennis floor like mentioned on the website, but there is a new paddle floor. The Beachvolley floor is bad but at least there is one :) do not jump into the sand because due to the high number of stones.
Organized Guided tours are built just for tourist therefore very offer prices compared with what you can easily negotiate by yourself! On top of if, just remember, the old city of Sharm, is not “old”… there you will find just an “open bazar (fake stuff only btw)“ , no history connection with.
Soho square, nice the spend a couple of hours at night to take a walk and drink something enjoying the lights.
Farsha mountain club, absolutely a must to visit! Very nice and special place! At night, sunset or during the day.
La Dolce Vita desert party, we paid 35€ for entrance (included a free drink) and it was really good! Place, music and sound quality were nice! Drinks, the same s**t like everywhere.
Ras Mohamed, nice tour but nothing special…if you go with the agency there is a lot of dead time! Better to go with a private guide or taxi (you can always negotiate rates).
The people at the reception are kind but not flexible and they are not there to help you, really fix on his procedures.
