Received order in a timely manner. (Actually, I received it AHEAD of schedule). eSim instructions and information were somewhat confusing, but it was straightened out. I am a long-time Consumer Cellular customer.
We've had great service with Consumer Cellular over the past several years. I had to call support after receiving a new phone and they were really helpful and personable. I always recommend them if people ask me who I use.
So far so good everything has been amazing
10+ year customer, recently added a second line to my plan. Got a great deal on the Pixel 10, fast delivery and trouble-free activation. Extremely satisfied with Consumer Cellular! :-)
Been with consumer cellular for 3 or 4 years now. Service has been great. Have only lost service a few times, but it was in known dead zones in the area, so that doesn't really count. Recently ordered a new phone on line for the first time. Phone came promptly and was brand new. The only frustration was that I can to call to get the Esim to switch over. Neither the link on line or the included QR code worked. Customer service was knowledgeable and handled it promptly and got the phone working within a few minutes. The only other thing I've noticed is there's only a single line unlimited plan for people over 50 or 60. I don't personally need it, but if I did, it would be a problem not to have it available and would have to consider switching.
I bought a new phone and for the most part the transfer went easy, but we did have to call and get a bit of help. As always, the staff was fantastic.

I went to Walmart to ask about CC for a easier, less hectic phone for my elderly Mother to be able to use instead of her existing phone. First of all you cant even take the phone out of the box to look at it, the clerk was not very helpful, why isnt there a display model to look at, basically had to read the box and take it from there. He said you need to go online and hook it up, this process was not as easy as said. It took us several hours and several chats with CC. Now she has the phone at the nursing home where she resides currently, message popping up saying her service could be disrupted, has only had it for 2 weeks. Also the design is too sleek and phone small and slippery in her hands even I cant open it up well without dropping it, had to add adhesive stickers to it for better grip, and they dont make any covers for them I was told at Walmart when checking a few days later.

After having utilized Consumer Sales Home Phone Base (replaced the landline for 80% less), I decided to upgrade the equipment after eight (8) years. From speaking with the agent to receiving the unit and then plugging in the new device, I could not have had a better experience.
Since retiring from a large wireless company, Consumer Cellular rates are lower than my Retired Director/Manager Rates.
We love Consumer Cellular.

Did ordering on line and phone arrived quickly. Good service. 
My only complaint was the phone did not come with a wall plug charger. It did come with the cable to connect phone to charger but newer Iphone won't connect to older phone charger so had to go buy a compatible wall charger.

Every person I talk to getting my service switched over to consumer cellular was amazing! My switchover was complicated and actually took two days to complete with my customer service rep and then two porting specialists. Everyone. Knew the answers to all my questions and took care of everything for me with the methods I had to use to get connected. Very few companies now have that level of customer and I command consumer cellular for hiring and training that level of employees. Please keep up the great work.

First, they never bothered to check to see if I could get service where I live in NH, which is in a rural area. I also put a sibling from a very metro area in MI on my plan. It turned out that neither of us had service without WiFi calling on. This happened right out of the gate as I used my landline to sign up with them and couldn’t get service. The guy told me to turn on wi fi calling and basically hung up on me. We discovered that if the internet was out, so were our phones after this. So I had to switch carriers. The larger carriers did check to be sure I had coverage. I was told by CC my first month would be free. It wasn’t. I had coverage for less than two months and was billed what seemed like three months. They also charged for an entire extra month even tho I had less than half a month when I had to switch. During that time I had terrible service. I’d say the people are friendly but behind it is a very dishonest, deceptive company that preys on older people. I’m sorry I wasted my time and money. They would not even meet me half way.
