Last year we inquired if we would get someone to do our wooden floor 50m². By December Around home provided us with a company called Carpav construction managed by Nicolas Cardia. He come to see the project in beginning of December 2025, then requested for a deposit which we paid him, upto to today 30 April 2026 the Contractor never showed up. We have been communicating to him but he disrespect us as his clients, refused to refund or work, we contacted Aroundhome but never got helped and this company still works under them. So much disappointed. Terrible experience ever.

Letztes Jahr fragten wir an, ob jemand unseren 50 m² großen Holzboden verlegen könnte. Im Dezember empfahl uns Around Home die Firma Carpav Construction unter der Leitung von Nicolas Cardia. Dieser besichtigte das Projekt Anfang Dezember 2025 und verlangte eine Anzahlung, die wir auch leisteten. Bis heute, dem 30. April 2026, ist der Handwerker jedoch nicht erschienen. Wir haben versucht, ihn zu erreichen, aber er behandelt uns als seine Kunden respektlos, weigert sich, die Anzahlung zurückzuerstatten oder die Arbeiten auszuführen. Wir kontaktierten Around Home, erhielten aber keine Hilfe, und diese Firma arbeitet weiterhin unter deren Dach. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht.

Sent me an SMS with a date and time for a consultation at a shop, including the shop's phone number. When I arrived there, nothing had been booked, and the phone number - 12345678 - of course didn't work.

I was looking for 3 offers and found Aroundhome after a Google search. The communications, telephone support were good and helpful. Aroundhome found a local very competent partner who came to to our home and after a review we were convinced and ordered.

I have just received a call from this company and found their conduct absolutely disgraceful!
I was researching an upcoming bathroom renovation and wanted to know if a mobility bath would be an option to look into. I therefore filled in a form to get a quote or some further idea of the pricing of such products.
The 'Customer Service' agent called and asked for some more information so she could recommend some companies in my area to me. After asking a couple of questions, once I answered that the renovation would likely be in the next year, she then refused to provide any further details. I asked why this was, and she replied that the plans were too far out. I replied fine, let's say it was in the next 3 months then and explained that I want to get an idea of what the products cost to incorporate it (or not) into my plans, explaining that and that e.g £500 vs £5000 is a big difference so I needed to get some kind of an idea. She refused.
I then asked why, when she is promoting a product and is supposed to be customer services, apart from the fact that she called me, was she now refusing information? It's ridiculous. She kept repeating that she could not tell me these things over the phone, I advised that is not what I am asking for, I am asking for what she initially advised and offered, which was that she will get a couple of companies to give me quotes - that is what I am asking for! And the reason for my query anyway is to replace an existing 1500mm standard bath. She said it's of no help to me if she says the products range from anywhere from a few hundred to £10,000, I advised that actually that was helpful and it was not for her to deicide what it was that I wanted or was helpful when I was the customer and telling her exactly what I wanted, but she was refusing to provide it.
The whole call was completely ludicrous and a waste of my time, when someone enquires about a product, they want information regarding that product, including pricing. They do not want a 'customer service' person vetoing their query and withholding information, refusing to even put them in touch with the companies that can provide that information. She was completely incompetent and more like a secret service agent that customer service agent. I wanted very simple information, which she refused to provide on multiple fronts.
I would never consider using your company anyway after this experience - it says a lot about you and how you treat your customers - unacceptable.

I went through this company to find a ‘mobility Bathing’ company - the company they recommended did a terrible job - when I emailed Kauferportal to report this and ask for advise - they completely ignored me!!! Not happy at all and I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO USE THIS COMPANY!!!
