Punctuality

Easy booking system . Polite customer service but not punctual because when I realised I had a problem with the appointment I had booked. It has been very difficult to get a new date up till now.
Three weeks waiting for a call, I had to get in contact with them numerous times to organise a date to get my windscreen replaced.
It has alway been the same old procedure… Asked for all my details the next thing I will hear “Someone will get back to you from the workshop” I even drove to the workshop in swords (that was the centre I chose) I was told to keep calling the office.
As of the time I’m writing this review NO NEW APPOINTMENT for me yet.

Poor service all round avoid them if you can

Shocking, over a month to get an appointment made multiple phone calls. Finally got an appointment turned up to the center and told it was not for another 3 weeks. Now have to pay for a full retest with NCT. This company is shocking. If I could avoid using them I would but clearly they have it all sown up with the insurance companies.

Terrible serivce

Terrible serivce. My car was booked in for a minor windcreen repair over a month in advance, I was assured an engineer would come to my home to carry out the job. Booked to work from home that day and nobody showed up. Phoned several times, eventually got through to a rep who said I was through to a back up line as they were very busy, but someone would call me back. That was a week ago. Also emailed, no reply. Looking at other reviews it seems they have form! Very disappointing

Autoglass are useless

Autoglass are useless. I had my driver side window broke and my dash cam stolen. I contacted axa about getting it fixed and they put me onto autoglass. They took 10 days to come out and fix it. The installer told me the glass was a few mm thicker but should be fine. 7 weeks later the window stopped working. Wont go down. I rang them on the 21st of July and they gave me an appointment for the 29th to fix their bad work. They never showed. 4 days after they were ment to come out and fix their bad work. The glass window fell inside the door. This would of never happened if they did not skip the appointment they gave me. I have call them 3 times and no one has got back to me in 5 days. Never use Autoglass. They are slow to begin with and are terrible at following up when they do bad work. I will be putting a complaint directly into my insurance company. NEVER USE AUTOGLASS.

Response to reply: I have already rang 4 time and asked for a call back. I had to ring to get a hold of a manager. Autoglass has made no effort to contact me after six days past the appointment your technician did not show up for. If I didn't ring, you would never contact me. When I finally got hold of someone senior at Autoglass, he tried to make out that there was something wrong inside the door when no one has come and looked at the work that was done to confirm this. Also, when the technician came out and did the job, he did not mention any possible problems besides the window being a few mm thicker than the original window, and he said it should be fine. Now I am being told the quickest they can come out is the 17th of August, 19 days after the appointment that I was given and your guy skipped. Your company is a joke. You take no accountability for your work. Trustpilot should allow people to give 0-star ratings. You don't even deserve 1 star.

Disappointing service

Disappointing service. I’ve been waiting for 2 weeks to have my car’s screens replaced, while driving it with a plastic bag to cover. The staff is extremely polite, can’t complain about it but they experienced a delay in the delivery of my screens and wouldn’t even let me know if I had not called them myself.

Highly unprofessional service

Highly unprofessional service and extremely poor installation quality.
I had my windscreen replaced here, expecting OEM quality, but instead of the factory-standard Pilkington glass, they installed a cheap FUYAO aftermarket windscreen.
To make matters worse, they made a critical error during installation that caused a crack along the edge of the glass. An expert confirmed that this type of damage only happens when too much pressure is applied with a tool during fitting. Even worse, the crack was hidden underneath the plastic trim so it wouldn't be noticed immediately—it only became visible after a few days. After just under 2 months and waiting for a reply from auto glass, the crack had grown to 28 cm long, forcing me to get the entire windscreen replaced again by a different company.
When I reached out to them regarding this damage, they completely ignored my enquiries and stopped responding altogether.
Unprofessional, dishonest work, and zero customer support. Stay away—absolutely not recommended. Day of replacement: 6th May 2026 Autoglass Cavan branch

Poor Quality Work and Zero Customer Care

First time using this company, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. If I could give zero stars to Cork Autoglass I would. I waited for over a week for someone to contact me with an appointment, but nobody ever called. Despite this, my insurance had already been charged for the service. I eventually had to call the depot myself to arrange an appointment. They gave me one, but I then had to wait several more weeks.
On the day of the appointment, I dropped off my car and later received a call saying it was ready for collection. When I went to collect it, I immediately noticed several issues. My dash camera and phone holder hadn't been removed properly - they had simply been ripped off the windscreen. The original clear adhesive pad from my dash camera had been ripped and replaced with thick black double-sided tape. This tape can only be removed by cutting or scraping it off the glass, making it very difficult if I ever need to reposition the camera. On top of that, the camera no longer stays attached and keeps falling off. The cables had been left exposed, and the camera had been installed in the wrong position. I went back to reception and explained the problems. The receptionist called the technician over, but he was completely unprofessional. He insisted that everything had been like that already, claimed they couldn't hide the cables, and said they wouldn't fit under the cover. I explained that I paid €180 at the dealer to have all the cables professionally hidden, they had no problem to do it, and when I brought the car in, everything was neat and properly installed. His response was that hiding the cables "wasn't their job" and that their only job was replacing the windscreen. What disappointed me most was the complete lack of care for my vehicle and the attitude I received. They simply didn't care about returning the car in the condition it was brought in, and instead acted as if I didn't know what my own car looked like before the repair. As a result of their work, I now have to spend additional money replacing the mounting part for my dash camera. I have never had such a poor experience with any company before, and I don't recommend they service at all.

I recently had my windscreen replaced…

I recently had my windscreen replaced by Autoglass Dublin Airport.

When I collected my car on Friday, I was handed the keys and told everything was good to go. The only advice I was given was not to wash the car for a day or two. Nothing else was mentioned.

I didn’t drive the car over the weekend. On Monday, during the warm weather, everything that had been attached to the new windscreen with adhesive started falling off, including the camera housing and my toll tag. I also discovered that the plastic trim behind the rear-view mirror had been snapped and covered with a sticky adhesive to hide the damage. This part was not broken before the windscreen replacement.

I called Autoglass and was initially told I would need to bring the car back for inspection. As the damage was obvious, I asked if I could send photos instead, which I did. After several days with no response, I had to chase them up myself. Eventually, the manager confirmed from the photos that a replacement part needed to be ordered. Around two weeks later, I was contacted to arrange a mobile appointment, and the damaged part was replaced at my home.

The technician who came today was professional and honest. He explained that the fitter who originally replaced my windscreen had only been working there for around six months and assured me that she wouldn’t get into trouble. He also said I was justified in leaving an honest review.

What disappoints me most isn’t that a mistake was made-mistakes happen. If, when I collected the car, someone had simply said, “I’m sorry, this part was accidentally damaged and we’ll replace it,” I would have appreciated the honesty and had no issue with it.

Instead, nothing was said. The broken part was concealed, and it was only because of the hot weather that the adhesive softened and everything started falling off. Had this happened during winter, I may never have known.

I appreciate that the issue was eventually resolved, but the lack of honesty and communication is what has left me disappointed. Customers deserve transparency, especially when damage occurs during a repair.

Dear Karolina,
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback, and we sincerely apologise that your initial experience fell short of the high standards of honesty and professionalism we demand from our team.

Your feedback has been shared directly with the management team at our Dublin Airport branch. We are using this as a serious training opportunity to ensure that all technicians - regardless of their tenure - understand that accountability and immediate honesty with our customers are non-negotiable.

We truly appreciate your kind words regarding the honesty and professionalism of the second technician who completed your repair. Thank you for your patience while we resolved this, and for holding us to the standard you rightfully expect.

Warm regards,

Overview

Registering, having insurance claim processed, very efficient. Then, silence for over 48 hours.
The registration reference number disappeared into the ether; therefore, I had to reboot my identity at centralised Dublin office to get any communication from the local branch. Luckily, I landed a cancelled appointment after 72 hours. Timing of job was very efficient and the job appears well done. Courteous staff at site.
Let your customers know where they are in the queue by text, E or phone, please, AG.

The five stars relate entirely to my experience with Kevin and the team at Autoglass Castlebar.
I would give Minus five stars to the Dublin cowboys. I wrote two separate emails to them and they hadn’t the courtesy to reply. The first time I phoned them I was in a queue of 16, the second time it was 24. I emailed to ask a simple question ‘what time is my appointment’. No answer. Nowhere on the internet do Autoglass give the telephone number of the Castlebar site, Why???

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. I got my side window replaced by a guy and he broke all the clips in my door. The panel does not stay in place anymore. He also damaged a trim around my window and when rang with a complaint a guy from Longford rang me and said it was already broken. I have a photo of the car before the replacement took care and the damage wasn’t there. No help from them whatsoever and was left with a loose damaged door card and a damaged trim on a 35k car.

I don’t normally leave reviews

I don’t normally leave reviews, but Andres at Autoglass Depot Kildare deserves one.

I had a chip in my windscreen and contacted him expecting I might need a replacement. Instead, Andreas took the time to explain the process and repaired it so well that the chip practically disappeared.

What stands out most is his professionalism and experience. You can tell straight away that you’re dealing with someone who has over 20 years of experience in the trade. Honest advice, excellent workmanship, and no unnecessary upselling.

I even contacted him over the weekend, and he still took the time to reply and answer my questions. He can also deal with the insurance side of things, saving you a lot of hassle.

Of course, Andres replaces windscreens too, but if you have a chip, do yourself and your wallet a favour and call him first. He might save you the cost of a replacement.

In Ireland we’re often quick to mention the bad experiences, so it’s only fair to highlight the good ones too. Andres is a true gentleman and someone I would happily recommend.

Customer service is terrible booking time outrageous

Customer service is terrible. time of response to completion beyond comprehension. ordered a windscreen through my insurance standard car no special order. Auto glass called me to book in the repair at the beginning of May. with an original date of 25th June. which I felt was unacceptable to wait almost 8 weeks, they then called me back with a date 10th June only If I could bring the car to them. I eventually accepted this under duress. so my appointment was made for 10th June 11am I arrived 15 minutes before 11. to be told they had no windscreen for me as it hadn't arrived on the truck from Dublin and it would need to be done on the next day. no apology for the delay no offer to drop or collect my car just basically deal with it. I left the car over night and told them I would be back the next day after 2pm. I received a phone call at 10,36 the next morning to say my car was ready and could I collect5 it. I told them I was in meetings in Wexford and would collect it after 2pm as already explained the day before. they said well we have nowhere to park your car so you need to collect it. As I had previously said I collected it after 2pm. I was given the car key and told don't jet wash or use a car wash for 24 hours. no apology for the inconvenience. only the fact I have windscreen cover on my policy I would run a mile from this company. the windscreen was fitted so no issue with workmanship otherwise It would be a zero star review
