I ordered 4 dresses for my daughter’s wedding. Really should have gone with my gut but I didn’t want to leave something out there. Paid over $200 and my dress ended up being on sale for $85. But I was told my credits never expire which is good bc I have more weddings in the future. The dress after alterations was perfect and not a regular boring MOB dress. In fact I don’t think I ever looked so elegant.

Ordered a $450 dress that was depicted as a sage green, fitting a wedding color scheme. Paid the free return option. NYDress sent me an orange dress, not at all what was depicted on my order, which I can't use. I contacted them immediately asking for a refund on return of the dress since the wrong item was sent. NYDress will not refund me for the dress despite sending the wrong item.

I went to a boutique to order my daughter dress waited a month and never received it. I was already online and was afraid we wouldn't receive the dress but God is amazing. I did two day shipping and the dress arrived on time with no issues package well. The dress was stunning and worth every dollar. Great service and everything is authentic will recommend 100%

My dress was sized wrong and looked like it was the material feom a cheap shower curtain made from temu. It truly seems like a dupe.

Avoid buying from this place unless you can afford extra 50% customs fees - it's not mentioned in the video call I had, had a bad experience with hidden charges recently so just a heads

The dress was exactly as it looked on the site and the sizing description was very accurate pay attention to the measurements, dont go by what you usually wear go by the size chart they have or you will be returning a dress because it can't fit, check sizing recommendations for every dress as they are from different designers, they even have a consultation option, I recommend you do it if you can, I think thats amazing to have that option.

I spent $1400 on two dresses. The first dress I received from Johnathan Kayne was crumpled up into a plastic bag and when I tried it on, it had spotted grease stains on the back and the zipper was jammed and flawed. When I contacted customer service, the rep was amazing communication, and helping me solve the issue by returning the dress.

Then I received the Rachel Allen gown today, and it was new and nicely folded in a plastic bag. The Rachel Allen dress was perfect.

I do think when people purchase these expensive dresses, it should include protective dress bags, instead of just being delivered in a plastic bag.

I bought a beautiful dress a year ago, it arrived perfect and in the time described, I live in Italy. I was sent an email as soon as it was sent. 7 days ago I bought another dress from you and I still have not received the shipping email. I tried to contact you by email to know if it was sent but I do not receive any response. How can I contact you? Thank you

The dress was GORGEOUS. Ordered 5 days before the event during prom season and staff couldn't me more helpful - they provided expedited shipping so I could receive the dress on time and were super communicative. Thank you!!!

The sizes are inconsistent. I have ordered numerous times and sizes seems to be either too big or extremely small for for the same size like size 2. Its not a good company to buy dresses. The return policy gives you so little time to return but the regular delivery time takes weeks. There are a lot of other online stores that are way better to shop with.

I got 2 dresses from them. The size didnt work and I tried to return. According to the chat, they could not accept the return because was a sale item. Than they offered to accept the return and change for store credit! According to the website they have easy return. It is basically impossible to buy clothes specially event dresses online- you need to try it on. Than they did accept the return, saying that they would charge me 15% of restock fee! This is not like business are done in US.

Horrible customer service. I purchased a size 2 in a dress as that was the smallest size when I'm usually a size 0. When I received it and tried it on it was surprisingly too small and needed to exchange it to a size 4. Unfortunate, but expected as that risk kind of comes with online shopping. They did not have that size in stock so I asked if they would be getting more. Turns out that they won't ever be restoking the size 4, so I requested a refund since they could not hold up their end of their exchange only policy. They refused so now I'm left with a dress that does not fit with no way to return or exchange it. I need this specific dress (which is available on a bunch of other websites in a size 4) to match the other bridesmaids, so their store credit does not work for me either. I would not recommend ordering from here. Not worth the risk.

Dress does not meet my expectations at all! The color and the material is nowhere like the dress itself as pictured. We tried on the exact same dress from the original designer Jovani and decided to order from New York Dress. What we received is a shiny metallic like real gold material. Not at all what is advertised nor what we should have received.We are so dissatisfied and disappointed

Beautiful dresses. However, I would advice to be careful on the sizing as it is very difficult to get a right size if you are pear shaped. I took my measurements (34 chest, 26 waist and 39 hips) and was advised to order a size 10 (because of the hip measurement.) I was skeptical of that size suggestion and decided to order a size 8 and it was far too big so I exchanged for a size 6 and even that was still entirely too large especially in the waist and chest area. I shipped back the size 8 dress the same day it arrived at my door but the time it took to ship back the size 8 dress and then send me back the exchange dress in size 6, it was cutting it too close to my event. I could only return the size 6 dress and get store credit back as their policy states NO REFUNDS and only exchanges or store credit. I read the return policy and the reviews on this page and everyone seemed to speak positively about the sizing chart so I took a chance on them but the sizing did not work for me unfortunately. I should’ve just ordered a size 4 from the beginning because that’s my usual size but the company insists on following the designer size guidelines :/. I just wanted to write this review to warn any girl who has the same issue as me (being smaller in the top area and bigger in the bottom) to just go for the size that fits your chest if you choose to order from New York Dress.

I have purchased two dresses from this boutique. Both times I completed my orders over the phone with the same stylist (Jermaine- I think that’s his name) and at times other staff members. I can’t think of one thing to complain about. I received the top tier service both times. Both dresses fitted perfectly. I didn’t have to do any alterations.

Went for a dress. They showed us one that was too big so they clipped. We ordered in the assumed size but was never measured now cannot return.
