Slow service too much time consuming
I don’t find the NeedHelp website very helpful. I have to pay upfront before the work is even done, and with my craftsman/trade person, it also takes too long to finish the work, even though I book well in advance. So, honestly, I’m not really happy with it. I would prefer to use another platform instead.

Good Platform, but High Commission
Overall, I think this is a good platform. It helped me find skilled people for my project, and I was able to connect with some really capable and professional workers.
That said, the commission charged by the platform is quite high, which can make the overall cost significantly more expensive. I also had mixed experiences: some people were very skilled and reliable, while others stopped responding after we had already discussed the project.
So, I would say that there is definitely a bit of luck involved when choosing the right person. However, overall, it’s a useful and good platform that makes it much easier to find people for different projects.

This is a rip off company, avoid it .
Find a local trades person and don’t waste your money on need help.
Thank you for your prompt response below, as always quick in dangling carrots , if need help would be that quick in paying maybe they could filter out the bad trades doing dodgy work for them .
I’ll update this thread and let’s see how many more months it takes them to pay !.

The contractors did not carry out the requested work and ultimately withdrew from the project. Furthermore, the fees charged and the overall communication with NeedHelp were disappointing. Many requests went unanswered or were only responded to after repeated reminders.
