I’m 2 weeks post op ,so I’m back in England now . I had an extended tummy tuck and lipo 360 .

My whole experience from start to finish was faultless . Everybody was so helpful but in particular it was havva who looked after me and put my mind at rest through the whole week and had continued to be such a massive part of my aftercare always replying quickly with text messages with advice and answers on any concerns I might have .

Fully Recommend Maya Medical .

I had my breast augmentation with Maya Medical on the 29th of April, 2026, after a previous experience with another company was a disappointment because I had travelled all the way to Turkey without being able to have my surgery for reasons that were not my fault. Because of that experience, I was understandably very nervous about trusting another medical tourism company. However, Maya Medical was able to accommodate me on very short notice, and within roughly one to two weeks of first contacting them, everything was organised and I was able to travel to Istanbul for my surgery.

From the beginning, I never felt pressured, rushed or unsafe. I first heard about Maya Medical through a woman on TikTok, found them on Instagram and contacted them via WhatsApp. My patient coordinator was incredibly kind, down-to-earth, understanding and professional, both with me and my partner. When I arrived in Istanbul, I was extremely nervous because of my previous experience, but he immediately made me feel comfortable. He was friendly, joked around with me and my partner, and made the whole atmosphere feel much more relaxed. That really meant a lot to me.

My surgeon was Op. Dr. Gökhan Haytoğlu. I also had a very positive impression of him. He was kind, calm and professional, and I particularly appreciated that he spoke English, as this made communication much easier. I felt that he understood the general result I was looking for and I felt comfortable around him.

However, there are some things I wish had been handled differently. I would have appreciated a longer and more detailed consultation. I wish I had been shown and allowed to feel the different implant options that were being considered for me, rather than simply discussing them. I also asked whether I could show pictures of the result I wanted, but I was told that it was not necessary because the surgeon already knew what to do. Looking back, I wish I had still been given the opportunity to show those pictures, because I think it could have helped communicate my expectations more clearly. I also specifically would have preferred a moderate-profile implant rather than the high-profile implants that were ultimately chosen. For me, this is one of the main things I would have liked to have been listened to more carefully about.

Another area that I think Maya Medical could improve is post-operative information and follow-up. I would have really appreciated receiving written instructions, either through WhatsApp or as a printed document, explaining what I should do and what I should be paying attention to during each stage of recovery. Being given a lot of information shortly before travelling back home makes it very easy to forget things, especially when you are already overwhelmed after surgery.

The biggest disappointment for me, however, has been the lack of proactive follow-up after the surgery. During the first few weeks, I contacted Maya Medical myself with questions about my incisions and how to take care of them, and they were always responsive. They are still very easy to reach through WhatsApp, and whenever I message them, I receive a response very quickly. So I cannot say that they are unavailable.

What disappointed me is that they have not really taken the initiative to check on me. Our last contact was in June 2026, and since then I have not heard from them to ask how my recovery is going, whether I am happy with my results, or whether I have experienced any problems. After such a big procedure, especially when you have travelled to another country for it, I personally would have expected at least some form of follow-up. It feels quite strange to go from having such a positive and personal experience with the team before and immediately after surgery to feeling as though you have simply been forgotten afterwards.

Overall, my experience with Maya Medical was mixed but, in many aspects, positive. I am grateful that they were able to help me after my previous bad experience, and I genuinely had a good experience with my coordinator and felt comfortable with my surgeon. At the same time, I believe the consultation could have been more thorough, my preferences regarding the implants could have been listened to more carefully, and the post-operative care could be much more proactive.

If post-operative support and regular follow-up are particularly important to you, I would definitely recommend discussing this with Maya Medical beforehand and asking exactly what kind of follow-up you can expect after returning home.

My dedicated nurse Havvaa was the best thing as my aftercare support. She was and still is contactable anytime via whatapp I prefer with any questions or reassurance needed, she is non negotiable in my recovery. She sow me daily, wether for personal care, a hug, advice and even help with tourism help. Now in uk week six she is still so valuable to me in my journey to full healing after my mummy makeover , which is had zero infections or complications

My friends already going to them as I highly rate Maya Medical to everyone they actually CARE about you!!

If you’re considering having surgery where the surgeons and nurses actually care… then Maya is for you!! I was recommended to Maya as two of my best friends had surgery here and having previously had cosmetic surgery in the UK I thought let me see what Maya had to offer.. the service and experience from start to finish was honestly OUTSTANDING. The care, the thoughtfulness of my results and every small panic I had I was made to feel assured even weeks after my op! I had otoplasty and thigh lipo, I wanted stomach lipo too but my surgeon suggested against it because of my shape and my skin being softer on my belly - how many surgeons do you know that would be honest and think of you and your results rather than just grabbing another £600 off you? My surgery experience with Maya was so outstanding my surgery in the UK was like being part of a cattle market as here I felt like a human being.

I recently travelled to turkey for a breast uplift. From start to finish, it was a great experience and I would do it all over again. I can not fault my patient co ordinator, the hospital staff, the aftercare nurse and my surgeon in any way. Special mention to aftercare nurse Havva, she is absolutely amazing and so professional! I would definitely recommend her lymphatic drainage massages after surgery. Any questions I had no matter how silly or small they seemed were answered in full and fast too! The communication is brilliant and most staff speak a good level of english. The hospital was so clean and modern, the staff there were very attentive and when I pressed my buzzer a couple of times throughout the night, they were there straight away. I did initially want implants as well as an uplift but the surgeon spoke this through with me in depth and explained why this would not be a good idea and although I was disheartened at first and I am so glad I listened to his advice. It is only early days but I am over the moon with my results. I was apprehensive about travelling to Turkey at first because of bad press you see online but I would do it again in a heartbeat. Honestly I feel like a brand new person with so much more confidence. The only couple of minor things I would say, which are not a fault of the company. The hotel is lovely and clean however it does not like the pictures advertised in the brochure and it is in a bit of an awkward place with not much around. That being said the hotel is lovely and the company are on the ball with transport, the hospital is around 30 mins from the hotel. I underestimated Istanbul, the size and its traffic! I did have to rely on uber eats while I was there as there wasn’t much around. The hotel does provide room service but it is on the pricey side( expected as it’s a five star hotel) but it is really tasty. The breakfast which is included in your stay has lots of variety. The pain medicine provided in my opinion was not very effective so I would advise to bring your own!

After extensive research, I chose Maya Medical for my mummy makeover surgery, and travelling from the UK to Istanbul was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I had a tummy tuck, 360 liposuction, breast uplift, and implants — and the entire experience exceeded every expectation.

From the very beginning, my coordinator Burak was absolutely incredible. He supported me through every stage of the process and was available 24/7 on WhatsApp whenever I had questions or needed reassurance. What started as a professional relationship genuinely felt like friendship by the end of my journey. Even after returning home, he continued checking in and supporting me, which meant so much.

I was able to choose my surgeon, Dr Erkan Uçe, and I honestly could not have asked for a better surgeon. During my consultation, he listened carefully to exactly what I wanted, explained everything clearly, and made me feel completely comfortable and confident going into surgery. His professionalism, kindness, and talent are exceptional — he has truly given me my dream body.

Every member of the team made me feel cared for and safe throughout my recovery. Havva, who looked after my dressings in hospital, was so gentle, encouraging, and supportive, especially helping me regain confidence with movement after surgery. Büşra, my nurse at the hotel, was equally amazing. She provided my lymphatic massages, checked on me regularly, and was available 24/7 whenever I needed anything. Her kindness and care made such a difference during recovery.

The hotel itself was stunning — truly 5-star, luxurious, classy, and extremely comfortable. The VIP transfers arranged for every appointment, hospital visit, and airport transfer were such a thoughtful touch and made the whole experience feel smooth, stress-free, and special from beginning to end.

I am now almost 4 weeks post-op and feel absolutely amazing. The aftercare has been outstanding, and I still receive regular check-ins from the team. Knowing I can contact them anytime for support or advice gives me complete peace of mind.

My experience with Maya Medical has been absolutely flawless I genuinely can’t fault a thing. I came for a rhinoplasty and I was very nervous but I was looked after every step of the way and really put at ease. My surgeon and anaesthesiologist were so unbelievably kind and made me feel very safe and comfortable and the nurses at the hospital were absolute angels. I travelled over to Istanbul for breast augmentation surgery with my partner who was having his teeth done.
From the initial enquiry, there was no pressure, no forcing and no rudeness. They were polite, informative and understanding.
Once booked, any questions we had were answered quickly and thoroughly.
Throughout the travel, we were informed of any transfers, appointments etc which was good. We had constant contact with Burak, who was incredible!! So friendly, so knowledgable and so kind.
The hospital was so clean, friendly and understanding. Both surgeries went well with no issues and they are not a company that are just after your money, they genuinely care about you and what is realistic. So skilled, and felt so comfortable.
The hotel we stayed in as part of the package was the Lionel Hotel, who again, cannot do enough for you. We realised on the day of arrival we had forgotten our travel plugs but the staff offered so go out and buy us some!! Room service was amazing, i needed extra pillows following my surgery which were delivered to the room within 10 mins of me requesting them. The food in the hotel is lovely and so tasty. Dinner on average was only about £30 per evening.
I honestly cannot recommend Maya Medical highly enough.

I went to maya medical and visited dr soner tescan , wow the experience from start to finish was just perfect, I cannot fault one thing !! From the doctor himself to the nurses, aftercare nurses & accommodation was no issue at all I got a breast uplift with implants and the results I am so obsessed with , recovering perfectly and 0 problems

This was my second time to Maya medical. I am once again really happy with the service , my new surgery which was Rhinoplasty piezo method with Dr cemal hacci who was absolutely AMAZING! The consult was so precise & I felt listeaned to what I wanted with a realistic expectation what could be achieved with my nose, I didn’t even need to show him any inspo pictures because he did even better with the 3D Stimulation before & after which was the main reason I wanted this surgeon, I’ve wanted my nose for over 10 years and I’m glad I waited to find the correct surgeon who I could fully trust to perform the surgery on me Dr cemal Level of facial construction skills is by far the best I have ever found! If your wanting your nose or anything facial work he is 100% the surgeon for you! He is very lovely & so easy to speak to as a surgeon too. Maya have always provided incredible service to me from transfers to the Hotel & the hospital Orion was unbelievable!!! Clean , boutique private care style .the nurses in the hospital was all so nice nothing was ever a problem. I’m only 10 days post surgery so I have a long healing process way to go but even on my cast removal day 5 .. WOW I was so shocked how much I actually loved my nose already!!! Even with swelling I could really see the shape where it would be , how much smaller my tip was and bridge and shape was suited to my facial features I have also seen my operation pictures and it was to me even better in person! i couldn’t believe how minimal everything was , I had no bruising personally , I had not even had much swelling to my face ( although I do drink 3 litres of water a day & I was taking bromelien for swelling ) and followed everything and still am aftercare wise the Dr & Maya told me to..but I was absolutely fine I never had pain from this procedure I only felt slight pressure first couple of days but definitely not any pain, I can breathe absolutely fine already so , so far so good! I can’t recommend Maya Medical enough. I had a breast augmentation 12 days ago flying from the UK.. and I’m so pleased with my results!
A special thank you to Havva (plastic surgeon nurse) for taking care of me post op, she were amazing. and also Burak patient coordinator, who reassured me pre and post procedure, he definitely settled the nerves. And DR Erkan Yuce the surgeon of course, he listened, and performed exactly what I dreamed of. He was so reassuring, kind and very knowledgable and confident, and knew exactly how to create the look I wanted. The communication has been outstanding from pre op to post opp, I was slightly worried about the language barrier, but honestly there’s nothing to be worried about as both my coordinator, surgeon and nurse spoke good English, easy to understand. The transfers were incredible, and the hotel provided were outstanding. Honestly if you are thinking to go with MAYA, do it!! 😍🍒❤️

I had the best experience at maya medical Dr Erkan did an amazing job with the state my implants was in from the UK, I was having a silent rupture which I wasn’t aware of, he completely refreshed me with new implants and an uplift and gave me a complete new start, they look 100000x better even with swelling present, he made sure I was recovering well with going through a few surprises that we didn’t know about and I was discharged with the all clear, no problems no issues. Would recommend dr Erkan 100%. My treatment co-ordinator Burak❤️ - what an absolute angel. He went above and beyond for me and my partner he made me feel so relaxed and at ease with everything he took all our worry’s away and he was 100% the main reason we will return to maya medical for future surgery’s, his help and patience and just putting us out of any worry really did make the experience. The nurses was lovely, especially my first nurse who helped me get up and walk she was so kind, they all was. There is so much stigma coming to turkey for surgery but I did a lot of research before coming and I’m so glad I did. I would 100% recommend this team ❤️ my partner wanted his teeth doing here which Burak helped him with and he is so pleased with them. So Thankyou for everything Maya ❤️

I come to maya from UK, from booking my rhinoplasty in November all the way through to the surgery in March the service was 10/10. Every question I asked was answered straight away the quality of everything was amazing. The hospitality facilities were insane, the hotel and the food were amazing. Amazing from start to finish I travelled from uk for a breast lift and implant.
Hotel is lovely and modern staff are amazing.
Communication with maya medical staff is great always in contact keeping up to date all information needed.
My surgeon was Dr Soner Tezcan really happy with my results currently 3 weeks post op so far so good. Maya medical staff present through my consultations and appointment prior to leaving.
Hospital clean and nurses are lovely even with a communication barrier all my needs and wishes met I felt so safe.
Nurse come to hotel to check my dressings and was just a WhatsApp message away if any issues.
Flew home 5 days later and able to contact maya if any issues always speedy replies.
Cannot recommend them enough my experience was great.

From start to finish my experience with maya medical has been fantastic! I will most definitely be returning in the future for more procedures.
