Caught fire after one year!

I purchased an HP printer from PrintAbout at the end of 2024. In February 2026, I encountered a problem with the printer. A sheet of paper got stuck. I removed the paper, but afterwards the printer stopped working. It even produced some smoke and was close to catching fire.
I requested warranty support, but I was told that the warranty is limited to one year for professional customers. However, I mainly use this printer for personal purposes and print fewer than 20 pages per month.
PrintAbout refused to honor the warranty or offer any commercial gesture.

Thank you for your review! We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems with your printer. When a customer purchases a printer for business use, the warranty period is one year. This is legally established for HP. We cannot offer you a warranty beyond this period. If you have any further questions about this, please contact our customer service department!
