Mistakes, delays, denial and gaslighting... My experience with Premier Property Lawyers has continued to deteriorate even after I raised a formal complaint. Instead of improving, communication and case management became worse.
My purchase has now been delayed for over 10 months (since November 2025!). I have discovered material communications with my mortgage lender only through my mortgage broker, not through my conveyancer. Premier has continued making legal representations to my lender without explaining their purpose or keeping me informed. I have also received conflicting information about what has been sent to the lender and when.
In my view, the transaction has become bogged down in technicalities rather than being managed pragmatically despite my lender willing to go ahead. I have serious concerns that the legal position being presented to my lender has not been properly explained, yet I have repeatedly been refused a clear legal explanation.
As a result, I have sold my home, remain in temporary accommodation, and continue to incur significant costs. Conveyancing nightmare goes on with no hope on resolution. I feel unwell just thinking about it...

My solicitor was Leanne Jones and throughout the process she was helpful, supportive and kept things moving forward.
She made the whole process go smoothly.

Made the remortgage process very clear and easy to follow. I loved how the tasks disappeared as you did them so you knew what was left to do, but you could easily re-read them if you needed to. Updated very quickly whenever documents and mortgage came in. Very efficient. Helped us secure a much better rate than our bank was offering with a new provider, and solicitor navigated a complex ERC schedule (mortgage in multiple parts) understanding what we wanted well and delivering in a timely way. No complaints.

I can’t thank Laura Swift enough for everything she did whilst we were purchasing our first home. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and thorough throughout the entire process. Laura answered every question in detail, responded to all queries promptly, worked tirelessly to move our case forward as quickly as possible, and was genuinely lovely to work with. I’m so grateful for her support. I would definitely recommend Laura and would use her again.

Efficient, fast service with good customer service

This was the third time I've used Premier Property Lawyers, and once again they provided a great service. The whole process of selling my property was handled efficiently, and everything was well organised from start to finish. They kept things moving, met deadlines, and made what is often a stressful process feel straightforward.

I'd especially like to thank William Townsend, who handled my recent sale. He was always quick to respond whenever I had a question, kept me updated throughout the process, and dealt with everything thoroughly and professionally. It was reassuring to know the case was in such capable hands.

Another reason I've returned to Premier Property Lawyers is their online portal. It's easy to use, makes uploading documents straightforward, and keeps all correspondence and paperwork in one place. Being able to track progress and access everything whenever I needed it made the whole process much more convenient and organised.

After using Premier Property Lawyers multiple times, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property. Thanks again to William and the rest of the team for another smooth and hassle-free experience.

I had used PPL before and although not great they were cheap and passable but this time what an absolute shocker. This is like the Ryanair of conveyancing. Luckily in the end thanks to a great estate agent it went through but PPL were shocking throughout.

My case was a simple sale of a freehold with the mild added complication of a Probate. This turned out to be quite the opposite. PPL can only cope with textbook cases with no complications otherwise they are clueless and useless. The slight addition of any complexity and they have no idea how to handle it. They also managed to add several unseen charges such as a 'Fast' exchange and completion charge which means they can't cope with exchange and completion in less than 3 days so they charge you £165.00 extra. For any normal solicitor this is standard practice.

Total lack of urgency, had to chase them throughout with terrible communication. This culminated in a final week of stress and anxiety when my assigned solicitor went on holiday and never told me. I received no replies to any e-mails in the last week and the remainder of the chain below went into panic mode. When I rang them nonchalantly someone had the audacity to say someone else was dealing with it but couldn't be bothered to reply to any e-mails. AVOID.

I had a very positive experience with Paula Morris at Premier Property Lawyers during the purchase of my first property.

As a first-time buyer, the conveyancing process was completely new to me and, at times, quite stressful. However, Paula remained professional, approachable and responsive throughout. She kept me informed at every key stage, answered my questions clearly and ensured the transaction progressed as smoothly as possible.

That said, the overall experience was not without frustrations. On some occasions, I received repeated requests for information that I had already submitted, which made it feel as though communication between the teams could have been better. There were also times when it was difficult to reach someone by telephone, which added unnecessary stress during an already time-sensitive process.

Overall, I really appreciated her dedication and support in helping me complete the purchase successfully. Thanks to Paula and the team, I am now the proud owner of my first home in England.

Avoid. They completely mishandled my remortgage application and left me in an incredibly difficult position despite having months to get everything sorted. The communication was poor, the process was confusing, and there was a complete lack of urgency and ownership when it mattered most. Extremely disappointing experience.

Really helpful Conveyancer, answered any questions and put my mind at ease. Explaining things I didn't understand.

Andrea always had a friendly, helpful and professional approach.
At first, I found using the eway portal rather impersonal but Andrea made it easier to deal with.
