BE CAREFUL

I try to close my account since one year ago. They keep making excuses.
Up to know it wasn't really an issue because I moved to the free account so I wasn't paying any money, but all of the sudden today the billed me.
I'm lucky that they have only my curve card and not my main credit card. Let's see if I can block them through curve otherwise I'll get rid of curve as well.

Scam company

Scam company. Keep changing unclear rules and then accuse users of violating them and take all their money.

Also they charge subscription to users that already closed their accounts and should have had their data deleted. They try all cards that were ever used to pay subscription. That is criminal behaviour.

"You previously selected the Starter plan on Plutus. Due to a billing system issue, your subscription payment was not processed. Your plan selection has remained active throughout.

Your subscription is now set to auto-renew and your card on file will be charged for your Starter plan. Once payment is confirmed, your full plan benefits — including PLUS rewards, perks, and gift card discounts — will be restored immediately.

If you no longer wish to continue on this plan, you can opt out at any time from the Subscription section in the app before the charge is processed."

Customer service appalling

Customer service appalling . Takes weeks to get a response, ever changing goal posts to get you to buy more. Just an awful company, no idea what a complaint is and how to resolve one. Don’t touch them.

This is a scam

This is a scam. Had an account from many years ago. They are trying to charge credit cards for subscriptions I did not make. The company also refuses to close account.

I used Plutus for over a year

I used Plutus for over a year. The first year was fine, I managed to cash out my rewards. I started saving up my rewards so I could cash out the following year. I tried to do it only but kept getting errors, the support team were incompetent. Months go by of my trying and trying while the price action and horrible tokenomics meant the value of my rewards kept decreasing. I lost hundreds in value of rewards as the PLU token price just kept going down due to the horrible tokenomics. Eventually they introduced a limit where you can only cash out £20 of rewards a month. So you’re paying £20 a month for the subscription to only be able to benefit £20 of rewards being cashed out. Meaning net 0 rewards. The product crashed and burned with such severity the whole crypto community has shifted from Plutus. Nobody speaks about Plutus within the crypto community other than it was a scam. Furthermore I haven’t used Plutus in nearly a year. Today they’ve tried to charge me for a subscription plan and take money from my account. Seems like the company is desperate for money. I can see this is happening with a lot of people.

Awful company, had an account with them and opted out when they decided to add a membership fee.

My account has laid dormant for over two years however today randomly they decide to take £6.99 out of my bank account.

I’ve logged in today after two years to understand why and they’ve took my account out of “sleep” mode and decided to charge me!

I’ve filed a complaint to them online and i’ve requested a chargeback through my bank

A subscription that I ended in December…

A subscription that I ended in December was reactivated and €6.99 was taken from my bank account. I haven't used the card in months and had cancelled payment and no payment was taken in January or February but today 7th April they took €6.99.

Also I had filed a case for unauthorised purchases on my card in November 2024. Over a year later no money returned. A total scam company.

Already left a negative review for this…

Already left a negative review for this company on 14 Feb 2025 on Trust Pilot. After many issues told them to cancel my Plutus subscription and account in early January 2026 as I don't like what they are doing and no longer trust them with my money. Takes them ages to respond, but finally my account was closed on the 16th March 2026......... Great, but I'm still getting emails in April from Plutus to say my subscription can't be taken and they are downgrading my plan. My account should be closed, clearly they can't even do this properly!! Luckily I've frozen my payment card. Sent them an email on the 31st March to ask why, no reponse from them and its now been 6 days. Just close the account!!

They wanted to charge me for…

They wanted to charge me for subscription even I am closing my account for few months now. They always want to more information about closing and don't want to close my account. Even today - they want to charge my debit card for subscription. I blocked this transaction, so they did not, but this is directly stealing or misusing debit card numbers. It is not scam, it is stealing money from your account.

Another crypto scam

I'm not going to talk about how a product that started out great fell into the abyss of yet another worthless crypto card. Everyone already knows that story. I'll just share my experience with the token payout.

I requested a payout of my PLUS tokens to my wallet. They never arrived. No transaction visible in my account — nothing.

Since then, I've been chasing support for half a year. The responses? Generic "please allow up to 30 days" copy-paste replies, followed by complete silence. I had to follow up in November, December, January, and February just to get a human response. The latest reply in March didn't even address my case — it was a mass announcement about a new payout feature, as if my tokens hadn't already vanished months ago.

I was paying a subscription for a few years, using Plutus on a daily basis. I earned these tokens by their rules. I requested a legitimate payout through the official process. Yet, they are breaking their own terms. Half a year later, I'm still empty-handed with no clear explanation of where they went or what happened.

At this point it's not even frustration — it's just disappointment. Avoid.
