We just came back from a lovely stay at shell house. The house is a really short walk to the beach and sand dunes. There’s a small post office and a mini mart type shop just round the corner.
The house itself is so lovely, all really well equipped. The kitchen/dining room/lounge is really lovely with everything we needed in the kitchen.
The other room downstairs is a nice tv room with a big sofa to chill on.
The bedrooms are all lovely and comfy.
Then decor in the house is really gorgeous and it was lovely and clean upon our arrival. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay and would definitely stay here again. We really loved it

A lovely, quirky house at a most excellent location for your stay in Bath.
The house is spacious and it has everything that you need for a hassle-free stay away from home. Very nicely ornamented throughout, we loved all the fine touches.
Our host has been most helpful, quick to respond to all our queries, most thoughtful and considerate. Should we visit Bath again we have no doubt where we are going to stay!

So lovely apartment. Great beds and plenty space for seven people. Buss stop is near, and there is easy way to centre. Nice pubs nearby.

Beautiful Airbnb and space, spotlessly clean and the location was right in the city centre. The booking process was so quick and easy and the host was always friendly and responsive. Just pack your ear plugs as it’s noisy from the bin men, bottles clanging, music from the bars and people screaming on the streets.

Easy to communicate with. Instructions clear. Property great and well looked after.

The location of this apartment was fantastic — close to everything we needed and within easy walking distance of family, which is why I was initially really pleased with it. Unfortunately, the condition of the property completely overshadowed that.

The cleanliness was well below what I would expect from professionally managed accommodation. The bathroom, particularly the shower and toilet, was so dirty that I did not feel comfortable putting my children in it. I ended up cleaning it myself and using mould remover. There was also a strong unpleasant smell throughout the apartment, and I even had to clean an oven dish before I could use it to cook dinner for my children.

On top of this, there was demolition work happening directly outside the bedroom window from around 7am. It was extremely noisy and at times shook the whole apartment. We had already been travelling for weeks with tired children, so this had a significant impact on our stay. There had been no warning about the demolition work before we arrived.

I raised the issues very early in our stay and provided numerous photos. While the concerns were eventually acknowledged, the process of getting any meaningful response was frustratingly slow. By that point I had cleaned a significant amount myself and no longer felt comfortable in the property. Everything had started to feel unclean, and I felt on edge staying there with my children.

We eventually left the apartment early and paid for alternative accommodation rather than remain there.

This was particularly disappointing given the cost and the fact the property was advertised as professionally maintained and cleaned. The location genuinely is excellent, but unfortunately that could not make up for the standard of cleanliness, the disruption from the demolition work, and the way the concerns were handled.

I would not stay here again based on our experience.

Communication was excellent. The venue was immaculately clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable. The location was delightful, and I thought the price was actually very fair. We are a family of four, and we did utilise the two bedrooms plus the sofa beds, but it worked just fine for us. The tube stations are super close by, so getting into town wasn't difficult. There are a couple of nice pubs down the road that are quite lively. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at the property everything is well described and the location is excellent, within walking distance from town but without all the busy pedestrians and traffic. There is also a sega Megadrive which was a fantastic addition with pre loaded games that we thoroughly enjoyed

The flat is very cosy, clean and very well maintained -access is pretty straight forward - Parking is an issue in the surrounding area. There’s no dedicated parking - it’s a bit pot luck if one manages to park close by. Location prime and facilities outstanding. Highly recommended.

Our family had a delightful and comfortable 8 night stay in this truly 'home away from home' establishment. We have stayed previously and always find the home clean, comfortable and very well equipped for a self catering holiday. Thank you for a great stay and allowing a late departure when we discovered our flights were delayed.

The apartment was clean and greatly maintained, all the necessities were available and the team was always available to respond to any concern or questions we had. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back with pleasure. Thank you for everything;

Great accomodation

We had a great stay and the communication from Pass the Keys was fast, efficient and helpful. There was always someone on hand on the phone or email for any queries. Really impressed with the service.

Amazing house a a lovely helpful family. A guy from the local village helped us out of a bad situation on Sunday morning. The home had everything we needed. We couldn’t find the tennis racquets on the first day so the host ordered some which came the next day with Amazon after we found them in a cupboard. Would definitely book again.

Lovely clean comfortable cottage very happy had great weeks break, good weather so able to travel to other places everyday Lovely big bed, lots of hanging space & drawers, bathroom excellent,downstairs shower extra bonus. Cosy kitchen & lounge everything brand new. Good to have little garden too.

We stayed in Bath near Oldfield Park. The house is quite nice and in a quiet area. It was spacious enough for five people and nicely decorated with some scuffs and general tiredness.
What made me give three stars was the service from Pass the Keys and the value for money. Unfortunately we got locked out - the property only has one set of keys for five guests which in my opinion is absurd - and had to pay £50 to be given another set of keys. The spare keys magically appeared in the lockbox and we were asked to give them back.
The outside area was not looked after in the slightest, which is a shame considering it is rather large and considering the summer weather that was on offer.
One of the windows upstairs didn't open but Pass the Keys said "don't worry, the other one opens and there's a fan" in 30+ degree heat. Nice. This was after having paid a £40 damage waiver fee to avoid having £500 blocked on my credit card - as such, I expected the property to be in full working order.
When I presented these issues to Pass the Keys, I continually received AI generated responses that claimed to be "part of the guest services team" but it would be reviewed and I would be responded to properly. Only after pestering, and several weeks, did I actually get a human response that said that none of these points will be changed in future.
So, if you're in Bath, go elsewhere. For about £250/night, you can find better I'm sure.

This was the 1st time I've booked an Airbnb and the whole experience was easy and stress free. I booked the apartment for me and my 13 year old son to use as a base to do activities in and around the area. We also chilled quite a bit in the apartment.

The apartment was lovely and nicer than expected and very spacious. My son said it was the nicest holiday place he'd ever stayed in! It was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed.

A few people have mentioned in reviews that you can hear people from the pub across the road on a Friday and Saturday night, which you can, if sky window is open in the bedroom. It's not overly loud, but you can hear them if you go to bed early (like me!). I took ear plugs and left the window open, which solved that problem anyway.

The communication from the host and Pass the Keys, was spot on. I had a few questions when we arrived and they were on hand immediately to answer them. The information about car parking was really useful. I parked for 6 nights at a car park 5mins walk away for £41.

Over all a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend staying there. If we go back to the area I would.
