Each time I have visited in Bovingdon the staff are completely uninterested in anything. The only time I experienced a friendly face was with an older lady who was very friendly and professional.
Today’s visit was a shambles served by someone who was very uninterested in anything. Very poor and virtually no customer service.
We have lived in the house for 12 months and the walk in pantry shelves are sagging/bowing 3mm-4mm, the shelves thickness is 15mm with a support spacing of 1.2m. The shelves are far too thin for this spacing. The Simonds representative that attended wanted to install wardrobe brackets in the pantry which are big, bulky and plastic and aren’t made to go in pantry’s. The shelving was installed by Stegbar. Stegbar were unwilling to do anything to rectify this according to Simonds. Should really be rectified under warranty. Very unprofessional service. This along with blinds that are of poor quality and have been replaced and still waiting on more new blinds as they’re made crooked and wavy. Kitchen cabinets are poor quality, have a second door replaced already, Simonds wanted to charge us $250 for the new door as it’s bowing, but said they would pay as a favour to us, when it was still in warranty period and should be replaced by Simonds as they’re supplying poor quality fixture and fittings.
