I was looking to book a 2 week vacation, again.
Many suggestions in the timeframe I gave for 2, 3 & 5 tay vacations but none for 2 weeks which was all I wanted, again.
For a few years every time I have looked for vacations on this page, it always suggests the short couple day to 1 week vacations or they say they currently do not have any to places like Bulgaria or Turkey. If I leave the location open for suggestions, it still fails to suggest 2 week offers which is what I generally look for 2 to 3 times a year.

The booking was easy when I finally refound the hotel. Price is solid.

The websites offers "the lowsest prices" for 4-5 star hotels- this is what they claim. I just did the task 3 days ago, comparing offers from secretescapes with offers within google on hotel bookings in Bangkok directly (typical providers such as Tripadvisor, Agoda, Expedia, Klook et al.)
On mainly all the offers at secretescapes, the prices where identical or higher vs the original hotel websites or the mentioned provides/portals above. Very few offers from secretescapes (I qualified only 1, have not checked all of them) were slightly cheaper, ie 4 Euros for a stay of 3 nights cheaper-wow. Something what I identfy tricky if portals claim und suggest to be the best in price but reality check identifies it different. This might can happen on a single spot, but not on all offers for Bangkok hotels. I suggest everyone to double check these so called "super prices" form secretescapes vs the portals I mentioned above.

Very disappointing experience with Secret Escapes. Be careful before booking. The cancellation policy is extremely misleading. It may look like cancellation is possible, but in reality you still have to pay an additional cancellation fee, and you do NOT get your money refunded back to your bank account. Instead, the amount is kept as credit with Secret Escapes for only 6 months.

This was very frustrating and honestly felt unfair and unclear. Customer expectations and the actual process are completely different. I would not book through them again and cannot recommend it based on this experience.

The vacation was well prepared. Unfortunately our last hotel had major service problems (construction work / blocked beach access), what forced us to raise complaints. Secretescapes reacted to our request fast and we had been able to settle the matter fast and fair. Well done and a clear encouragement for our next booking!

Deliver as advertised. if there is a problem, you get a fast response that really solves the problem!

This time the booking process had to be repeated, because it had not gone through for whatever reason. Some confusion but not a big deal really. Prices are exceptionally good 😊

Fr it was something hard to understand for a person who saved every part of the salary for the house and used only leftovers for funding the vacation. 5k for a round trip to Japan for 14 days was affordable I’d say. Not something vip or super support out there, but they kept the promise, props to them.
In terms of destination selection, the choice is decent and includes major sites. Not something special but for a man with 3 children, any vacation does count:)) The cheaper place allows unlocking the bar more effectively.

I have rarely experienced a hotel that impressed me in every respect as much as this one. From the moment I checked in, I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to fulfil every wish – without ever being intrusive.

The room was spotlessly clean, stylishly furnished, and wonderfully cosy. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the peaceful atmosphere – I slept beautifully. The bathroom was also immaculate and equipped with everything I needed.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all real highlights: a wide variety of fresh, high-quality dishes, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The service throughout was exceptional.

Overall, my stay was perfect from start to finish. You can truly feel that everyone here works with heart and passion. I will definitely be returning and can recommend this hotel without the slightest hesitation!

We booked 4 nights in New York, but did not receive the room we had booked. The hotel refused to make any changes, saying that Secret Escapes is a third-party provider. We tried to contact Secret Escapes, but without success. We also requested a partial refund via PayPal, but the case was closed without any explanation. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Update: Even after Secret Escapes replied to the message below requesting further clarification, they failed to respond to my private reply. The complete lack of follow-up is unacceptable. This has been my first — and certainly my last — booking with Secret Escapes.

I received a spam email advertising your services via Enviando UG (Haftungsbeschränkt) . I never subscribed, I never gave my consent. That is illegal.

Easy booking. Perfect

They cancelled our trip to Bali 24 hours before departure because one flight to Istanbul got cancelled. The customer service couldn’t help and the team responsible to deal with the flights couldn’t be reached via phone, only email. All in all, very poor service and a very poor experience.

the offered package was very good, miss on the booking confirmation the name of the guest, worry when my daughter checks in - since she has a different name - can that work easy?
I fear everyone could check in to the hotel if he has the booking code
