We recently installed a system complete with a battery. From start to finish, Georgina was excellent. She was friendly, professional and thorough. I can't recommend both Georgina and the Solar Smart installation team highly enough. The work carried out by the installers and electricians was very neat and tidy.

- Angela provided multiple options and helped select the appropriate configuration
- Paolo was able to accommodate my request to schedule the installation on a specific day
- Fantastic execution on the day by Dimitrijs, Liam, Noah, Sean, Jamie, Albert. Well planned, swiftly completed and patiently explained the operations. Very happy with the neat and clean job!
- BER visit was conducted promptly and certificate issued .

As a pensioner I don’t like disruption at our residence. I can truly say the disruption we experienced from SolarSmart was minimal. Paolo was very informative , understanding, and easy to deal with. This attitude obviously spills through to his installation staff. They arrived on time worked non stop in searing heat . They were polite and most efficient. The installation of 12 panel was complete inside 6 hours.
I cannot but be very satisfied with our experience!

I cannot recommend SolarSmart highly enough. From my very first contact with their sales team, the buying experience was incredibly smooth and entirely pressure-free. They send over a highly detailed quote, complete with an interactive link that maps out every single piece of information, cost, and projection you could possibly need to make an informed decision.

Their professionalism was clear from day one. When they did the initial site survey, they even flew a drone over our roof to inspect a tricky, hard-to-see area. What really blew me away, though, was their attention to detail—they brought exact matches of our existing roof tiles just in case they found a broken one or accidentally cracked one during the install. That is next-level preparation.

Once the installation team finished up, they sat down with me and thoroughly explained how the entire system and app work. If you are considering going solar, do yourself a huge favor and ask for Lara on the sales team. She is an amazing salesperson, extremely knowledgeable, patient, and brilliant to deal with. In fact, her service was so outstanding and made such a great impression that three of my neighbours ended up joining me and getting their solar installations done by them too! Truly a class act of a company.

Denis and his roofing team did an excellent work . The job was done efficiently and to a high standard. The lads made sure the place was left very clean and no bits lying around for the kids to find. Overall we where very impressed and would definitely recommend them

Very good to deal with from the very start to the end . Eoghan came out first access the job i found him very easy to deal with. The day the fitters came i couldn't of asked for nicer lads and workmanship was the highest quality .

I’ve had my system in place since 13th May 2025 and it’s working perfectly.
I got around 6 quotes for our installation. SolarSmart were the only ones who gave me straight information and gave me confidence. The others gave conflicting and, at times, incorrect information.
Lara & Gearóid were brilliant to deal with. The installation lads were really good. All the work was carried out within the timeframe advised.
Since installation any technical support questions have been answered within hours and sometimes minutes. Morgan has been a great help also.

They weren’t the cheapest quote but sometimes you pay for what you get.

I found SolarSmart to be a very professional outfit. Communications were excellent. These were coordinated very efficiently through Georgina, who was our contact person from the initial meeting to the end of the project. She could always be readily contacted and promptly dealt with any issues or queries that we had.
I sought 4 quotes for a 12 panel system and found SolarSmart to be competitively priced. They came on the date and time agreed. Work was carried out quickly and efficiently by friendly and knowledgeable staff. The installation is very neat and controls are unobtrusive. This is the way that all jobs should be carried out! I cannot praise them highly enough and would definitely recommend SolarSmart to anybody considering installing a PV system.

Denis and his team fitted our solar panel system. We're delighted with the system and the lads were exceptionally nice. The app is a great tool and delighted that we are now functioning largely on solar power!!

Georgina and her team were very patient and accommodating throughout the entire experience. Extremely professional, courteous, resourceful and more than happy to listen and provide recommendations in equal measure based on expertise and customer preference. Most disappointing experience I have ever had considering the amount of money I paid [ THAT WENT FROM BAD TO GREAT ]
9 months after my install I am writing my review...AND ANOTHER 2 MONTHS LATER I AM EDITING MY REVIEW - please read the EDIT AT THE BOTTOM
On the day of the install I made it clear that I will write a review and post photos, the team were informed and happy with it.
As the install progressed, I noted things to the installers that was not as per I was made to understand it would be carried out.
I had several questions and concerns the evening when all was done, these were shrugged off.
I had a sleepless night that evening after the install.
I searched for advice on the web and found the Facebook site that I should have looked for before accepting the quote. People on the Facebook page were aghast at the photos I posted of the install. I withheld the balance of the payment due, requesting that they rectified everything. A new team came out and redone the entire electrical install and placement of the equipment.
9 months on and I'm still having the system trip in wet weather. Mick, the electrician has been fantastic, but he is troubleshooting someone else's work and the issue just keeps reoccuring.
I have also not received some documentation that I requested at the start of the install, at this point I don't think I will ever receive it.
Even though they were one of the most expensive quotes, Lara, the saleslady and Mick who did the site inspection, had me sold, they are really great individuals. The install team let them down and I was left with an awful impression to this day. I've had some bad post install experiences too.
Thank goodness for the Facebook site, (Solar Works In Ireland). I wonder where I would be today without the information they provided, almost too late!

SOLARSMART REMAINS ENGAGED WITH ME AND THEY HAVE GONE THE EXTRA MILE IN PUTTING IN A NEW INVERTER TO HOPEFULLY ADDRESS THE POROBLEMS I HAVE HAD.

Having sat on the fence for so long we finally started getting quotes for solar. I asked 4 companies call out to my house. First gave the hard sell. I wont mention their name but their pricing structure and sales pitch did not make us feel comfortable. The second sales rep was poor and didnt seem to understand what we wanted or what he was selling. The third just sent a quote by email without a site visit. Jason from SolarSmart was brilliant. Really professional had a drone to inspect the roof and most of all listened to what we wanted and didn't want. He knows his stuff and gave honest and practical advice. Price wasnt the cheapest but was very competitive. The difference was the confidence we had in Jason and the team in doing the job right. Once we committed we had a site survey by a member of the installation team with Jason again. Nothing we asked for was a problem. In fact they went out of their way to ensure the install would be straight forward. 8 weeks later as promised the day of the install arrived and we had an army onsite. The lads were all so friendly and seemed to genuinely care about our installation and were proud of their work. Up and running within hours. A run-through of the system, demo of the app and left the place spotless. Jason called before they finished again, to ensure we were happy, which was a nice touch as he saw this project through from start to finish. I really cannot recommend SolarSmart highly enough. There are so many companies offering solar right now, its hard to choose who to go with and you worry about who will do the job right. From our experience, you are making the correct descision choosing SolarSmart.

Everything went super smooth. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, installation was super fast (about 6 hours), and everything is working well.
