An appalling pension provider

An appalling pension provider. Appears impossible to withdraw a pension pot online the date of retirement to withdraw defaults to 6 months later than your selected date. The phone advisor tells you that you will have to wait up to 45 days to process 10 days to receive an application (manual). Then you have to post it and wait). The home advisor seemed to offer only uncertainty on the timelines for the whole process due to a change in their system and a backlog. The online system for pensions is floored does not work correctly as the phone advisor confirmed around choosing a retirement date.
DHL pensions live in the dark ages and their systems seems to be set up to cause delays and a big reluctance to receive funds.
The only options for us that have monies invested in DHL pensions should have a mass protest to the Financial Ombudsmen or Latin Lewis Money show for all those people affected by DHL pension access issues. Please be warned do not invest your pension in DHL company pension provider.

ABSOLUTE SCAM MERCHANTS

Absolutely USELESS AND SCAMMING WIDOWS OF THEIR PENSION. . Already waited six months for payment for spousal pension and now told that it will be a further three months. We keep chasing and these scammers just keep inventing new excuses each time to do absolutely nothing.
These scammers are just appalling and disgusting.
Making money from poor pensioners on the breadline and going into debt .

Complete lack of responses and now 100 days plus from forms being submitted - cant actually speak to anyone that might be able to move things forward - they dont appear to have any thought for the people this impacts - shocking service from both DHL and Towers Watson

if i could give it zero stars i would.

if i could give it zero stars i would.
Utter utter rubbish....this is people money they are dealing with here.
The recorded voice message says " it will take up to 45 days to process" Absolute crap! 5o days on i have phoned them and when i eventually get through to someone (who is probably working from home ) they say that the forms are not even at administration yet!! I have sent a complaints email three times now and not had a reply !
There is no contactable phone number other than the one i have used.
What the hell is going on?
I realise that this is not Prudential but seriously.
Apparently the ombudsman are rubbish too.
Seriously get your act together, this IS NOT your money. People are reliant on getting their pensions.
And if anyone has any advice for me to get my money i am open to suggestions.

An absolutely vile bunch of charlatans

I was thinking about taking my DHL pension, They sent me a statement saying I could have a £12k lump sum plus a monthly payment. I filled all the forms in and sent them off. I wanted to use the lump sum to buy a caravan, I bought the caravan but the lump sum did not arrive in my bank account. I called DHL and they said it will be in my bank account in a few days, Two weeks later I chased it up again and was told "Sorry - we made a mistake - you are only entitled to a lump sum of £2k. When I complained to the trustees, it took them three months to reply and, even then, their reply was rude and condescending. An absolutely vile bunch of charlatans

Tried to use their new site to claim

Tried to use their new site to claim. Impossible no way to claim your own money just constant loops to other pages saying contact a finacial advisor. A simple claim form online after your secure login would be enough but they want you to spend your money and get someone else to attempt to claim for you. Mine is a simple short DHL employee which I waited an extra 5 years before trying to claim and now they have made it virtually impossible .

DHL pensions

DHL pensions - shocking to say the least….
Told of a members death, we will ring you back - nothing. We will send you paperwork to complete - nothing.
In receipt now of a letter from Willis Towers Watson to say a payment has been rejected by the bank and another from DHL to say the pension rate has increased from April - how many times do you need to be told of this death? Would ring and tell you again but not time to be held in a queue for 40 minutes . APPALLING DOES NOT COME CLOSE….

Opting out/stolen money

Having opted out of the auto enrolment dhl pensions persistently continue to take contributions. Tried numerous times to contact and escalate the problem but continuously ignored or employees passing responsibility like pass the parcel. I would not recommend anyone to opt in based on my experience. Seems like fraudulent actions or just plain incompetence is going on behind the scenes.
