The Magic of Moving with Mannix
Having lived in the same house for 48 years and seriously downsizing, moving was something I had dreaded.
I had been recommended to Mannix by a family member and I could not be more pleased.
Their assessment of the move & quotation was carried out quickly and efficiently. Nothing seemed to daunt them House buying and selling does not enjoy an exact timescale but they were flexible until final completion dates were finalised.
The move took place over two days. Two packers spent the whole of the first day expertly packing large number of items from the 9 bedroom house.
Many were antiques and valuable but I did not have a moment’s qualm.
Each box labelled and left ready for day two and Artwork carefully bubble-wrapped.
On the second morning a team of four with one large lorry and a medium
Van completed the packing and loading. Completion was by mid morning and we made it on time! This was in-spite of searingly hot temperatures and massively heavy pieces of garden stone which took all four men to move!
I only moved a couple of miles so there was no time wasted on transportation. At the new house the team followed my directions for the placement of furniture etc - even taking a super king size bed up a spiral staircase.
All unloading was completed by approx 15.30 it was an impressive and totally professional turn round.
Sadly I am not as quick at unpacking, but everything has moved safely.
Mannix provided not only a reliable, reassuring removal service but at a very competitive price.
I could not recommend them more highly
Moving is stressful but Mannix Brothers eased my transition into what I hope will be my forever home.

We used Mannix Brothers for our house move
We used Mannix Brothers for our house move on the 18th of June. The whole journey was a positive experience from Jason coming to give us a quote to Carmel in the office. The three guys (can’t remember their names) that actually moved us were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and put everything carefully just where we wanted it. Would highly recommend Mannix Brothers if you are moving house.

Great company
When I first booked Mannix Brothers I was due to move the following day, I had paid for removals however when I went to collect the keys is turned out that the person I had paid for had scammed me. I rang Mannix in a state and they refunded me for the removal that could no longer take place. I told them I would definitely be using them when I do finally move. I finally moved on 5/6/26 and when I first called they said they were fully booked that day, when I advised them about how they helped me previously they spoke to their manager and called me back saying they could help me. They went above and beyond to help me move and Joe and Steve were amazing, they were on time, respectful, thorough, friendly and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend using this company, they are amazing.

Mannix Brothers Removals, highly recommend!
I have used the Mannix Brothers on a previous move and they were so helpful and obliging then, I asked for a quote. Brilliant service!
Cannot fault Mannix at all. We used their packing service (which I would highly recommend) which took all the stress out of moving. They were incredibly efficient and professional, and in my view represent very good value for money. Our sellers’ movers were a shambles and Mannix went above and beyond by getting them to get their act together!

We have used MBR for our last 2 moves and wouldn’t use anyone else, they are not only competitively priced but the lads are so thoughtful with our furniture, taking extra care with TVs and delicate items! They covered the floor of both old and new homes really well. Very quick and efficiently ran throughout.
The communication from beginning to end was brilliant 🤩
