Dear Jackson,

I am writing this note of appreciation to thank you for teaching my daughter in an extremely structured manner about IB English Lang Lit SL.
Through the excellent learning and teaching resources at Lit Learn, my daughter who is giving her grade 12 IB exams learnt about Individual Oral, IB Paper 1 and Paper 2.
Your resources and video were very useful in understanding
1. The basic laws of Analysis, the diamond method, various literary techniques, purpose and effect on the reader overall.
2. How to write a strong Paper 1 response, how to combine multiple techniques , how to write focussed topic sentences - these were excellent guidelines for Paper 1
3. How to come up with Umbrella points for Paper 2 and then develop a thesis I think is the heart of learning and writing a Paper 2 response, which my daughter picked up from your resources and also how to structure the comparative analysis, craft a bullet-proof thesis and also about the quotes and mission level preparations for Paper 2.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to you and the LitLearn team for really enabling my daughter to improve her grades. You are doing a remarkable job in training students so well and congratulations on integrating an AI tutor in the course. My daughter's scores on her internal assessments improved from a 4 to a strong 6 and I would like to attribute that to your guidance.
Like you I am adding a Bonus point here: We simply loved the humorous tone of your teaching using existential questions like what is the purpose of life, but none is so important than what is the way to craft an IB paper2 thesis , the use of expressions such as IB Gods, why would someone go through the trouble of writing thousands and thousands of words if they were not serious helped to create a informal atmosphere and endeared you to the student.

Litlearn has been the single best resource I have used with my IB students to help them with their analysis skills and how to write high level analysis. The step-by-step approach to thorough analysis is simple to understand and there are great examples throughout the site to help students see what great analysis looks like. There is also some great lessons for preparing for the IB tests the students take their senior year.

LitLearn provided the foundation for me to attain a 7 in IB English Lang Lit by helping me understand the underlying purpose of English analysis in the first place. The resources offered helped me dramatically improve my grade to a final grade of 20/20 in Paper 1, and I will always be thankful for Jackson's help.

This course is a legend. I had 12/20 for paper 1 and I was completely unconfident about this. The night right before the exam, I read everything for paper 1 and made notes for it. That literally saved my life and I got a 16/20 by using the techniques Jackson taught in the course.

My grade before starting litlearn was a weak 3, My final grade was a strong 5. I basically relied on litlearn to get me through the entire IB course, learning everything from it. English was my least favourite subject and you made it tolerable, and even interesting/somewhat enjoyable here and there. It was cool to learn all the techniques and methods in a well-structured approach that simplified the learning progress (without lacking on the high level of content). I didn't have time to get through it all and even with that it boosted my grade far beyond what I could've imagined. I definitely recommend it.

I was a N23 exam student and bought the program probably a month and a half before the exam and it really helped me. I was scoring decently consistent 6s but with the help of your program I got to consistent 6s and I was approaching 7s frequently. Overall your content really helped me out in organizing myself and ensuring I would analvze the full impact of the techniques, where the diamond method really helped me out. The program overall was amazing and I highly recommend it!!

I signed up the course after I got a 5/20 in mock P1, 4 months before the final. I just relied and practiced what the course told me to do and in the end, I got 14/20 in both P1 and P2 for M23 Lang Lit. Totally worth the price; just follow the well-organized lessons and see the improvement.

Incredible resource. It walks English through like math instead of the regular where it seems so subjective. However, I think if you can cultivate a mindset where you really do enjoy learning English and analyzing these works of authors, then it will 10x your progress and results with this course. Actually be curious and wanting to learn how an author, an artist is able to convey their message and purpose to the audience through their works. For me, only with this mindset of actually becoming interested in this, was how I went from a 3 to a 7.

Somehow, Litlearn improved my predicted grade by 3: from a 4 to a 6 in English and from a 6 to a 7 in History. With a total IB predicted of 43/45, I got accepted to Columbia University!

There is so much that Litlearn does right. The overall organization of the course that makes me feel in control of my learning, the structure of the lessons that keeps me engaged and curious, the small practice lessons sprinkled throughout the course that keep my understanding on track, the Paper 2 questions that keep me constantly thinking about my works and how I can deepen my understanding in them.

The comparative analysis lessons were incredibly helpful. In DP2, on my first ever comparative history practice Paper 2, the Litlearn lessons allowed me to draw much more meaningful conclusions that stunned my teacher and resulted in my essay (and predicted) receiving a 7. The fact that Litlearn indirectly improves essays from other subjects speaks volumes about its effectiveness.

My improvement in English has been rather slow, taking roughly 2 months to improve from a 4 to a 5. Although my essays and commentaries have not reached a 6 level, I was predicted a 6 after 2 more school months because my teacher has noticed my consistent improvement and deeper understanding of the texts, which is thanks to Litlearn. I have always been more STEM-oriented, and I thought that this would hinder me, but Litlearn creates an almost formulaic way that makes the transition from STEM thinking to English analysis as smooth as possible.

I only have one small piece of feedback, which is that Litlearn would have more 5-minute practice. Although they cover all the concepts, it would be nice for me to practice my analysis as if practicing math/science past papers by overwhelming myself with questions.

Litlearn has helped guide me on track when I was in a sea of confusion, unsure how I could improve. I would highly recommend this course to anybody struggling to orient themselves and/or suffering from learned helplessness in English.

The LitLearn English Analysis Simplified course is probably the best one I've ever taken. Within just 20 minutes of doing the coursework, I saw a huge difference in my ability to present my analysis effectively.

Before starting this course, I was getting mid-5s on my work and would often have to spend many hours getting it reviewed by people to ensure it was of good quality. I dreaded English because the results were always hit or miss for me, and I thought there was no formulaic way to score well (being an aspiring engineer, my mind works best when following rigid structures).

However, LitLearn made English analysis easily digestible for me, and the many practice opportunities that I was given during the course allowed me to take my analysis skills to the next level while also gaining a deeper interest for the English course. Within a week of doing the course in preparation for my paper 1 mock exam, I managed to be the only person in my IB cohort of 120 students to get a perfect score of 20/20, which equates to a level 7.

Before joining LitLearn, I had a shred of doubt that it wouldn't prove useful to me and would just waste my money. However, these doubts vanished as soon as I started the course - it was worth every penny!

To my fellow IB students, this course is a gateway to the esteemed level 7. So long as you follow the outlined steps he provides, you won't regret taking it.

It was jaw-dropping-ly amazing, knocked my socks off and made my grades skyrocket to the point i cried tears of joy. My cat's eyes widened as trumpets played in the background, staring at me in pure shock when he heard my poetry essay marks improved from a pitiful 11/20 to a 17/20 in my end of year exams (EYEs). (overall, my total score for seen and unseen papers went from a 22/40 to a 33/40 - an improvement of over 50% from my previous grade!) No, this was not copy-pasted from r/copypasta. I wrote this myself 'cause that's simply how amazing i think litlearn is.
As a pre IB student, this course helped me so much by providing me with all the necessary information, examples, tips and tricks on how to analyse different literary devices, analysis exercises, past paper worked solutions and more!! With just day 1 of the course, I improved immediately and overnight when i did a practice essay and improved by 4 marks from my previous grades! In truth, I only got this course 2 months before my EYEs and did not even have time to practice due to the sheer overwhelming number of assignments i had to do, but I still managed to improve so much in such a short amount of time! I was genuinely so happy and i knew it was definitely the right choice to buy this course! It was TRULY my light in my sea of darkness when i was panicking and completely lost on how i should study for literature - especially with my below average grades that, despite constantly having for consultations with my (unfortunately, terrible at teaching) literature teacher, never improved. This course will definitely be worth it for literature students and i highly recommend this!! Litlearn has been a fantastic resource for my paper 1 preparation so far. It helped immensely in terms of building up the fundamentals such as knowing the techniques and their effects, which were key for my improvement. After going through the course for a week and doing around 2 practice papers, I managed to improve my grade from a 12 to a 17, my highest score so far :D. Before I started the course, I thought nothing could help me improve my analysis because I literally haven't improved over the last year, but the paper 1 course definitely gave me a lot of confidence. Anybody that is aiming to improve their paper 1 analysis should definitely give this course a shot.

I found it very helpful as it gave you the right ingredients for a successful paper 1 analysis. In my case it was a bit difficult but overall my paper 1 got much better.

Excellent course overall! When I started the course I saw an improvement within a week of practice and managed to increase my grade on mock exams from a 6 to a 7. In my final May 2022 examinations, I ended with a 7 in English Literature HL and I am so happy about that. Thank you Jackson.

I started LitLearn around 2 weeks ago when my grade was at a 3. I noticed that my grade was stuck and I found myself in a position where I thought I couldn't improve.
