I had made my application first thing in the morning and they pre approved, they then had to ask for me to confirm some information was fully correct to make sure the application process went smooth. Then within the same day they sent the funds straight to my bank. Very easy, pretty fast and simple. Couldn’t fault them. Would defo recommend. :)

£300 BORROWED – £1,056.06 TOTAL REPAYMENT. Absolutely shocking!
I borrowed just £300 from Loans 2 Go on 27 April 2026. When I checked my loan agreement, I was shocked to discover that the total amount repayable over the full term was £1,056.06.
Yes, you read that correctly. More than £1,000 to borrow £300!
I have already paid £352.02, meaning I have paid back more than the original amount borrowed.
I then decided to settle the loan early, expecting a reasonable reduction in the remaining interest. My early settlement quotation was £325.09.
Here are the figures:
* Amount borrowed: £300
* Total contractual repayment: £1,056.06
* Payments already made: £352.02
* Remaining scheduled payments: £704.04
* Early settlement quotation: £325.09
* Total paid if settled early: £677.11
Even with the early settlement discount, I would still pay £377.11 more than I originally borrowed.
I find the overall cost of this loan absolutely unbelievable. I understand that lenders charge interest, but the cost of borrowing £300 should make every potential customer think twice.
I also question whether sufficient affordability checks were carried out before approving my application, particularly considering that I already had other financial commitments.
I am now raising a formal complaint and requesting a full investigation into the lending decision and the interest charged.
My advice to anyone considering Loans 2 Go: read every single line of your agreement and calculate the total repayment before accepting anything. Borrowing £300 should not come with a £1,056.06 repayment obligation.

I am incredibly disappointed with Loans2Go. I went through a lengthy 4-stage interview process, was officially offered the role, and accepted it. Because I committed to them, I turned down two other excellent job opportunities.
They have now withdrawn my job offer solely because my previous employers were late sending over my references. What makes this completely unfair is that at no stage during the recruitment process was I ever asked to provide references, nor was I told they were waiting on them.
Because of their terrible communication and lack of transparency, I have been left with nothing and have completely wasted my time and good career opportunities. Absolutely shocking way to treat people. Avoid them at all costs.
I did not REALISE the extent of the interest and wow it’s NEARLY paying x4 the amount back and didn’t see this until logged in to see payment etc. RIDICULOUS
