Maria Jose Castaneda answered every question we had ahead of the trip and, as the trip got closer, sent us detailed information and organized an online meeting to go over everything ahead of our departure.

We felt well taken care of as soon as we arrived in Cusco. We LOVED Casa San Blas. It was beautiful, in a terrific location, and run by a warm and welcoming staff. And we loved Cusco in general.

Both our Cusco City Tour and Tour of the Sacred Valley (Urubamba!) were terrific. Ivan was such a great tour guide-passionate about the Inca civilization, knowledgeable about the area, history and culture. He was also able to share tips about our upcoming hike to Machu Picchu. We left feeling we had made a friend. I should also add that our driver, Juan Carlos, was excellent. He was a great driver which was important due to some of the roads that were still being cleaned up after landslides, etc. We felt very safe in his comfortable car and with his cautious driving.

We also loved our trek with Alpaca Expeditions. The guides, Alex and Kenyo, and the rest of the team of cooks and porters, etc. were amazing and we felt so well taken care of with safety, delicious meals, etc. They kept us informed of the plan at every step of the way. They were also knowledgeable about history, culture, nature, and hiking, there was nothing more we could have asked for.

We are so happy. This was a trip of a lifetime and my daughter and I will cherish it forever!

Our 11-day adventure through Peru was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Our travel planner Debbie and eveyone at Inca Traveler Experts made every single moment absolutely seamless!

We started in the Amazon at Refugio Amazonas with our incredible guide, Dennis. We saw tarantulas, capybaras, caimans, and so much more. It rained, it poured, and it was absolutely wonderful! There is something magical about waking up to rain in the rain forest!

From there, we headed to Cusco, where our guide, Christian, was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful foundation for understanding the history and culture of Peru. Next was Ollantaytambo with our guide, Salvador. And as we got closer to Machu Picchu, the trip just kept getting better. Somehow, each day managed to top the one before!

Beyond the incredible destination itself, some of our favorite highlights were a horseback riding adventure and, especially, a biking excursion. The bike ride? No words! It was spectacular. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we stopped for a beautifully prepared, catered lunch in a meadow, complete with a shepherdess and her sheep casually wandering by. It was one of those experiences you simply can't plan or replicate.

The train ride to Machu Picchu was an adventure in itself, and then came the crown jewel: Machu Picchu. Absolutely breathtaking!

What made this entire experience so extraordinary was how effortlessly everything came together. Eleven days, five hotels, countless transfers, multiple guides, and not one hiccup. Every driver, representative, and guide was top-notch. The vans were spotless, the hotels exceptional, and the restaurant recommendations beyond belief.

From the first day to the last, we felt taken care of every step of the way. The attention to detail, the quality of the experiences, and the people who made it all happen were simply outstanding.

Inca Traveler Experts didn't just plan a vacation; they created an unforgettable experience. We would recommend them without hesitation. Five stars aren't nearly enough. They deserve TEN!

Leila Dancuart truly understood the places we were planning to visit. She arranged for drivers and guides to every local. It was an active vacation with a few days built in to rest as our group is older and needed a little rest in between activities. We visited Galapagos, Amazon and Machu Picchu. Each of these places are very different, required different clothing and took place in a different environment.

Travelers to these places should take into consideration being on a boat for several days, a patch is helpful to prevent seasickness. In the Amazon light weight but full coverage (long pants and long sleeve shirts treated with bug repellent) safari type clothing preventing bug bites. And in Cusco and the Sacred Valley drinking Coca tea helped with altitude sickness. Also, we took pills we got from the local pharmacy.

The tours were excellent, inspiring and interesting. we loved them all! There is lots of opportunity to design a trip that works best for you by working with Ms. Dancuart. Ecuador and Peru are fascinating places totally worth visiting!

The guides where very accomodating and knowledgeable. The trip was as advertised and went like clockwork. I stronly recommend this company.

From start to finish, Melissa gave me wonderful ideas, took care of every last detail. I was very nervous going to the amazon and doing very active excursions with the family as a 60 year old. She had every single last detail taken care of. We had people meeting us at airport just to make sure we knew what the next steps were and so on. It was a fabulous trip, we made sure we stayed in above average hotels so we had a comfortable base to come back to. I want to give an extra special shout out to the private guide and driver they had for me while in Cusco. We had a family emergency with a pet dying while we were away. The driver and guide took extra special care and interest in us to make sure we had a moment to gather together and regroup, they treated us like family and were just as concerned as we were. Thankyou to Edson and our driver! I would absolutely use Melissa Schenk, she replied with every question with very deep details every time. The family said this was one of our best trips we ever had!

Thanks a lot for Leila’s arrangement on our trip to Lima, Amazon jungle, Cusco and Machu Picchu. We had a wonderful trip. We highly recommend Inca Travel services. I would also give special thank to our best tour guide, Victor Hugo Wilson Vargas at Machu Picchu. Victor gave us a very thorough explanation about the history and has been very considerable and thoughtful throughout the hike. the best driver wonderful driver goes to Christian, (Who had a new born baby on the date driving us to the sacred valley ). Christian is the best driver I ever had. It was a raining day and whenever we got back to the van. It was spotlessly clean. These 2 gentlemen are amazing, hard working individuals made our journey more colorful.

Experienced travelers who enjoyed seamless, troublefree transitions between and within the seven locations we visited (Lima, Arequipa, Colca Canyon, Puno for Lake Titicaca, Sacred Valley, Cusco, and the Amazon). Guides in every location were friendly, knowledgeable about their region, and responsive to questions. You cannot go wrong with Inca Expert.

Our travel planner, Urpi was amazing! She curated a comprehensive travel itinerary that included the best that Peru has to offer!

We started in Lima, then to Arequipa, and Colca Canyon where we saw the amazing condors! We then traveled to Lake Titikaka to see the floating islands of Uros and Taquile Island. From there we went to the Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Olyantantambo, Aguas Calientes and the most amazing MACHU PICCHU.

But our adventure wasn’t over yet! Back to Cusco and off to the next adventure to Iquitos, the gateway to the Amazon. We boarded the Delphin III, which was a luxury boat cruise with exceptional food and service. From there we were off to the Treehouse Lodge, which was the perfect ending to our iconic trip!

We were greeted by friendly, knowledgeable local guides every step of the way, and all of our accommodations were 5 star resorts!

We just got back from a great trip to South America! Urpi planned our journey through Peru, Chili, Argentina, and Brazil! The hotels she chose all had incredible locations and all of the tour guides were great! We especially enjoyed Edson and Manuel in Peru and Antonio in Brazil! The others were great too! We thoroughly enjoyed several of our dream destinations and learned so much about our destinations! Any concerns we had were quickly addressed and followed up on!

After reading so many great customer reviews online, we chose Inca Expert to organize our trip to Machu Picchu and the Galapagos. We went in with high expectations, and they exceeded every single one! Our travel advisor was incredibly detailed, helpful, and responsive, while the local guides were exceptionally knowledgeable and flexible to our needs. We absolutely loved working with Inca Expert and wouldn't hesitate to book with them again!

The trip was well planned out and was very diversified. We feel like we saw a good representation of Peru. All of the Inca Expert Travel representatives were very friendly and helpful. The guides were very knowledgable and fun to spend the day with.

Leila was fantastic in setting up our trip and even planning experiences we had never thought of. All of our Inca Expert representatives were extremely helpful meeting us and providing direction. There was never a moment where we weren't sure what we were supposed to do or where we were going.

Our trip to the amazon was wonderful. It was definitely hot & humid but we knew that going in so we were prepared. Luis, our guide was a lot of fun. He had an amazing eye for wildlife so we definitely saw plenty.

Cusco and Sacred Valley was incredible. We absolutely loved our guide Alex. We were so fortunate to have him for three days. The salt mines were something I was not aware of and found it to be one of the most interesting spots we visited. I keep telling people since I've been home that I knew I was going to see a lot of cool things but I didn't realize I was going to learn so much and I attribute a lot of that to Alex. Can't say enough good things about him!!

Machu Picchu was also amazing and our guide Manuel was another incredible source of history and knowledge. I also want to give him kudos for taking us all the way up to the top of Waynapicchu. There were multiple hikers on the way up that were shocked that our guide was going with us the whole way. He also made things a lot of fun by being our own personal photographer. He took a lot of great pictures that we never would have thought of.

We are definitely fans of INCA Expert Travel and will be coming to you again for our next adventure.

Our Peru trip with Inca Expert Travel was exceptional. From Lima to the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cusco, Puno, and Lake Titicaca, every detail was thoughtfully planned and coordinated.

We were very impressed with the perfect choreography of our chosen itinerary. Every transfer was punctual, and every driver was accomodating and made us feel safe in an often hectic driving environment.
