Hyper helped bring my start up idea to life. The whole process was detailed and informative. I know how a game plan to take to investors and grants, as well as the skills on how to continue building momentum and validation in the background. I can’t recommend enough and my team have been so supportive throughout the entire process!
Hyper Startup Studio has been an incredible partner in helping me advance UmniHub through the accelerator stage. A special thanks to Andrew and Connor, whose unwavering support helped me turn a complex health-tech concept into a clearer, more structured, and investor-ready venture.
Their expertise, honest feedback, and practical approach challenged me to think bigger while staying focused on execution. They genuinely care about founder success and consistently went above and beyond to provide valuable insights and support throughout the journey.
I highly recommend Hyper Startup Studio to any entrepreneur looking for a team that is passionate about helping startups grow and succeed. Thank you, Andrew, Connor and the wider team, for believing in UmniHub and helping bring the vision closer to reality. Stay tuned......🚀

As CTO of VemYou, and with years of experience across development and graphic design, I was extremely disappointed with the standard of Hyper’s early-stage product work.
The UX/UI, wireframes, prototype and design concepts were simply not at the professional standard I expected. Early-stage work should still demonstrate strong product thinking, thoughtful UX, consistency and attention to detail. In my opinion, Hyper’s work was basic, lacked polish and ultimately provided very little value when we moved forward with actually developing VemYou.
The branding was a good example. Hyper produced an early concept logo that I thought was extremely poor. We subsequently developed a completely new brand, yet Hyper continued using the old concept logo in our pitch deck even after we requested that it be changed. To me, something that basic reflected a lack of attention and care towards the company they were supposed to be helping.
Ultimately, we threw out everything Hyper produced from a product perspective. None of their original concepts, UX/UI or prototype work formed the basis of the product we went on to build. We started again and developed VemYou ourselves because what we had received simply wasn’t at the standard we wanted for the company.
My overall impression was that Hyper seemed to be working across too many ideas at once, with each company receiving only a small amount of meaningful attention. Rather than feeling like there was genuine depth being applied to our product, it often felt like ideas were being pushed through a process before attention moved elsewhere.
After years working across graphic design and development, Hyper’s product quality was easily one of the most disappointing parts of the experience for me. For the standard of work we received, I genuinely believe we could have achieved better results through Fiverr, Airtasker or an independent freelancer at a fraction of the cost.
And when I look at companies that may have gone on to build genuinely good products after working with Hyper, my experience leaves me giving the founders themselves the credit. Building a good product requires enormous work, iteration and attention to detail. Based on what I personally saw, I would attribute that success to the teams who actually put in that work rather than to the early-stage product quality we experienced from Hyper.
From a product, design and development perspective, I simply would not recommend Hyper based on the standard of work we received.

Our experience with Hyper Accelerate has ultimately left us believing that the way the program was represented to us was misleading and deceptive.
We paid approximately $22,000 as first-time founders after being presented with what we understood to be an accelerator journey involving active guidance through investment readiness and towards fundraising. The individual deliverables — including the prototype, branding and pitch materials — were, in our understanding, components of that broader journey rather than the entire value proposition we believed we were purchasing.
After almost three years of interactions with Hyper, the position now being put to us is materially different. Hyper’s position is essentially that the engagement was defined by its Statement of Work, that the deliverables were completed, and that substantial assistance provided afterwards was additional goodwill rather than part of the original engagement.
That distinction is precisely why we believe we were misled. Had the service been represented to us at the outset in the way Hyper now describes it, we would not have paid approximately $22,000 for the program.
While Hyper did perform work and produce a number of the listed deliverables — as they should, because those deliverables were a means to an end — our complaint is not that they did nothing, nor that investment was guaranteed. Our concern is that the overall impression of what we believed we were purchasing was materially different from the service Hyper now says it was actually selling.
We raised these concerns directly with Hyper and gave them an opportunity to resolve the dispute. Hyper rejected our position. We have since sought independent legal advice and are now pursuing the appropriate avenues available to us.
For prospective founders — particularly inexperienced or first-time founders — my recommendation would be to obtain absolute clarity in writing about exactly what Hyper will and will not do after the initial deliverables are completed, particularly regarding fundraising support, investor engagement, and the duration and nature of the accelerator relationship.
We have built the product ourselves, have paying users, and are getting ready for a PR campaign. So no, we are not simply upset because we did not secure investors, we are not ignorant of needing to pitch, and nothing is guaranteed. We are upset because we believe Hyper intentionally shifted the goalposts, and promised but did not delivered, we would never have paid 22k for wireframes and low quality designs, that i was ok with (as a concept) yet would never approve as professional company.
Throughout Hyper’s marketing and communications, the concept of being “investor ready” appears repeatedly. Hyper has also told us that our material was, or may have been, shared with investors in its network. However, I was not copied into those communications, so at present I cannot independently verify what outreach actually occurred and must rely on Hyper’s account of it.
Our experience is that Hyper over-promised and under-delivered. Where Hyper-backed companies ultimately succeed, founders should carefully consider how much of that success is attributable to Hyper and how much results from the founders’ own work, traction and networks.
Another thing to add: we have spoken with major VC firms and major investment groups, one of which introduced me to the Gold Coast Mayor. None of the people we spoke with had ever heard of Hyper. It is difficult for us to say whether any of the companies they have worked with are authentic. take your time, Approach with absolute caution and please remember this review. That does not allow us to draw definitive conclusions about Hyper’s broader network, but it reinforced our view that founders should independently verify the strength, reach and relevance of any investor network being represented to them.
The analogy that best sums up our experience with Hyper is simple:
You order the bolognese. They bring you the raw ingredients and say, “This is what you asked for.”
No — you ordered the meal.
That is how we view the deliverables. They were the ingredients. They were supposed to be the means to an end, not the end itself.
Do not pay 22k for the deliverables which are a means to an end.
In response to their response.
They say they gave 3 years support extra, no they have not, this is the engagement, they sold us the ongoing support and claim its a extra support. Very deceptive Sasha.
You brought it to this point through deception and misleading conduct, even in your response you are deceptive. Again why would I ever pay 22k for wireframes and concept, I paid 22k for the ongoing support, the investors meetings which never came.
Do not Trust this company.

In 2020 I worked with Hyper to bri g an idea to life. They did a stellar job. Today I had to reach out as I had lost my data. The response to my enquiry was immediate and sorted out straight away. I am glad I opted on Hyper 6 years ago because today they are still there. Great team.

When we first came to Hyper, all we had was an idea. We knew what problem we wanted to solve, but had no idea what the journey from an idea to an actual startup looked like.
The Accelerate Program gave us exactly what we needed.
Andrew was a huge part of that. He listened to every idea we had, asked the right questions, challenged our thinking and shared his experience. You could tell he genuinely cared about helping us build something that had the best chance of succeeding.
Sam was also fantastic throughout the program. He was always generous with his time, offered great advice and was incredibly supportive whenever we hit a roadblock or needed another perspective.
Connor kept us accountable from day one. He pushed us to keep moving, especially around the investment side of the business, and made sure we didn't lose momentum. We're really looking forward to continuing to work with him as we move into the Launch Ready stage and prepare to bring our idea to market.
As first-time founders, we've learnt an incredible amount over the past few months. We've gone from having an idea in our heads to having a prototype we're genuinely excited about and are now moving into the development phase. We honestly wouldn't be where we are without the guidance and support from the Hyper team.
A huge thank you to Sam, Andrew, Connor and everyone at Hyper. We're excited for what's next and can't wait to keep building our startup together.

Hyper turned years of ideas and notes into a clear plan in 12 weeks. They have a team of professionals in the right fields to guide through all the confusion. I would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience with Hyper through the Accelerate program. The program provided practical guidance, valuable tools and a clear framework that helped us sharpen JobAssured’s strategy, validate our thinking and strengthen our pathway to market.
The Hyper team brought genuine startup expertise, thoughtful mentorship and a strong understanding of the challenges early-stage founders face. Their support helped us challenge assumptions, refine our value proposition and approach our next phase with greater clarity and confidence.
I would highly recommend Hyper Accelerate to founders looking for a structured, practical and supportive program to turn an ambitious idea into an investable and scalable venture. Connor, Andrew, Ursula, Sam, Rob- Thanks a lot for all the help, guidance and inspiration!!!! We will continue the journey with Hyper for the next stage!!!

Dear first-time founder sitting on the fence about Hyper… don't do it.
I paid $22,000 to become "investor ready" but then paid another consultancy to actually get there (which they did and I loved their work).
I completed Hyper's Accelerate program in 2025 as a first-time founder and wasted a year of my life in an industry where shipping fast is your edge. So I'm here to give founders the factual picture I wish I'd had.
The design work (wireframes, 12 screens and a Figma prototype of those 12 screens, all which you can get on UpWork or, just ask Claude Design, for free) was delivered as agreed. The commercial aspect produced nothing tangible.
The few 'sessions' I did have were consistently encouraging (think Chat GPT o2) and always felt like it was leading up to something but I was left with no strategy and non-delivered deliverables.
The signed scope promised a tailored capital raising and strategic partnership plan, an investment strategy, a startup valuation, and an investment-ready pitch deck. What I actually received: no capital raising plan as a document, no investment strategy as a document, and no valuation (when I queried this, I was told formal valuations aren't provided and was pointed to a self-serve method in a worksheet).
The 'pitch practice' they run was a joke. I was given 'the deck' (part of the deliverable, 28 slides long), which was started by the previous account manager, who then left Hyper, and the new account manager never touched. They got me to go through the 28 slides, where by the end of the call, even the Hyper staff agreed that it still needed work. A third account manager then stepped in and re-jigged the deck but again, far from anything I could take to investors. I then engaged an external consultancy afterwards, at an additional cost, to run an investor readiness program and have me where I actually was 'investor ready' and scored multiple calls with investors which I am really grateful for.
Finally, I asked for a refund and was met with: "everything was covered across sessions" rather than delivered as documents, as per the agreement.
The refund was declined in full.
So, dear founder, learn to back yourself, and know that what you find on YouTube, is actually better than these programs.
If you're buying this program for the commercial and fundraising outcome, I got the that elsewhere for a fraction of the price.
The funny thing is, they promote themselves from day 1, asking you to share their assets on LinkedIn with a big celebratory post. So Hyper, well done on Hyping yourself. $22,000 gone.

I would like to sincerely thank Hyper, and in particular Andrew and Connor, for the outstanding support they have provided throughout our startup journey with TeeFinder. From the outset they have demonstrated genuine professionalism, guiding us through investor conversations, development decisions, and everything in between. Their expertise and willingness to assist with every query has been invaluable, and they have been a genuine breath of fresh air to work with. I could not recommend Hyper and the team more highly.

Been working with Hyper Studio for the past six months building TradeCraft from concept to a market-ready product. Hitting market next month and the product is where it needs to be largely because of the work Leah and Connor put in.
Both have been across every detail the whole way through sharp, responsive, and they genuinely care about what you're building. No fluff, no hand-holding, just experienced people who know their stuff and hold you accountable to stay on track.
If you're a founder looking for a studio that treats your business like it actually matters, I'd have no hesitation recommending Hyper.

In personal touch throughout the project to ensure development and success
If you have an idea and everyone around you believes it’s a winner, but you’re not sure where to begin, the Hyper Accelerate program is exactly what you need.
Hyper helped me validate my idea, highlighted key areas I hadn’t yet considered, and guided me step by step in turning my vision into something real. What stood out most was how the team, especially Julia and Conner, took the time to truly understand me, my goals, and my vision. They helped me recognise how my own skills fit into the project, how to make the most of them, and where I needed to bring in others to strengthen areas outside my expertise.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend the Hyper Accelerate program to both first-time and experienced founders.
Working with Andrew, Connor, and Rob was an incredibly valuable experience that taught me so much about what it really takes to become a startup founder. Their guidance, support and depth of experience immediately put me at ease and gave me genuine confidence that my idea could become a reality.
Andrew, in particular, stood out for his ability to share a clear vision while meeting me exactly where I was in terms of knowledge and experience. He took the time to explain concepts, challenge my thinking, and inspire me to keep moving forward, something I found incredibly motivating. He was always available to answer questions, and I genuinely felt I was in safe hands as my long‑held idea began to take shape.
I can’t thank Hyper enough for the insight, skills, and confidence they helped me develop. As I look toward taking the next step, I feel far more prepared and excited about what’s possible.
By the end of the experience, I will say I enjoy working with a team who has crossed the paths you're going to walk maybe times before. Really beats going at it alone.
This company targets inexperienced founders who are excited but do not know normal pricing.
They talk heavily about scaling, investment, networks, and big future potential.
They charge high upfront fees before proving real value.
Much of the actual work is often basic, templated, or outsourced.
The deliverables can be vague, overpriced, and hard to measure.
They can create the impression they will help secure investment, without giving any real guarantee of results.
By the time the client realises the output is underwhelming, a lot of money has already been spent.
Warning sign: if a company is charging thousands mainly for “strategy”, “connections”, or “getting your idea investor-ready”, but cannot clearly show exactly what you will receive, who will do the work, and what success looks like, proceed very carefully.
