Excellent interface and a lot of great investment opportunities. Limited fees.

Representatives from Hiive reached out to suggest matches and facilitate trades. When a buyer was slow in posting funds for a transaction, Hivve reps contacted them and facilitated completion of the deal. Very positive experience overall.

Hiive is the most reputable secondary market platform. They have a strong executive and legal team, deals that are hard to find elsewhere, a very refined website, and excellent customer service.

Have been a user on Hiive for over two years and have closed over 10 transactions on it. The platform has been phenomenal and the offerings make up a wide range . The staff (Ardi, Ivy, Harriet and lots of others) are knowledgeable , quick and really helpful and have contributed to a fantastic overall experience.

They handled everything for me! The whole process was as smooth as possible. This was definitely the way to go.

I agreed to sell shares through Hiive, and their platform marked my transaction “Submitted” and told me the ROFR process was underway. I relied on that representation for major financial decisions.

Months later, Hiive admitted that the transaction had never actually been submitted due to an administrative error. Despite acknowledging the mistake, the transaction is still not submitted and the buyer has yet to contact me. Hiive has repeatedly given new explanations and timelines while effectively leaving the process in the buyer’s hands.

Their legal team has been responsive recently, but that doesn’t undo the underlying problem: I was given an incorrect transaction status for months and have suffered significant financial risk as a result.

For a broker handling private securities transactions, this level of process failure and uncertainty is unacceptable. I would not recommend relying on Hiive for a time-sensitive transaction.

I’m a first time user of hiive platform. Arjun and Olivia give me a lot of help through my first transaction. They are quick at response.
One NiceToHave suggestion to the platform itself: Trading pre IPO option is a little bit different from traditional stock trading. The overall process is long and either party might change mind during the long process. I am wondering if there would be a rating system to indicate how often does a buyer/seller back out, so that when ppl receives multiple bids or offers they can take that into account.

I have closed on 14 transactions at Hiive and a few that didn't close because those companies were not allowing secondary transactions. I have had a seller failed to deliver because he didn't really have the shares. I have had a seller who tried to backout of a signed agreement after a positive announcement by the company moved up the price before we closed. Arjun Pawar helped me navigate that to a positive outcome. He diligently coordinated between company and transfer agent to quickly settle the trades. One was completed within a month. His communication is efficient and effective and appropriately chosen between email and phone call. I have received excellent service from Arjun. Thank you very much!

I’ve had an excellent experience with Hiive across multiple transactions, both as a buyer and a seller, involving Hiive Funds as well as direct private-company shares.

The platform provides access to a strong range of private-market opportunities, and I’ve found the transaction process to be transparent, efficient and well managed.

I’ve had particularly positive experiences working with John on the Execution team, Brett and Finan on the Trading team, and Ardi on the Investor Desk. Each has been responsive, professional and pragmatic in helping transactions move forward. That said, my interactions with the Hiive team more broadly have been uniformly positive.

Having now completed multiple transactions through the platform from both sides of the market, I’ve developed a high level of confidence in Hiive and the team behind it. For anyone active in private secondary markets, I would highly recommend the platform.

I have been dealing with Hiive for sometimes now. It is a great company to deal with. I have gone through difficulties with some transactions and Mr. Arjun Pawar did his best and spent time to resolve it. So, I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in dealing with private stocks and investment in general.

I am in the throes of a complex transaction involving 9 different entities and a dozen people: 4 brokerage firms, a bank, a lawyer, Hiive (Harriet-the hero), Sydecar, AdvantaIRA self-directed IRA and a 75 page transfer agreement. We are transferring Cerebras shares from Hiive to my Schwab Roth.
Harriet has been the driving force behind a Byzantine process and Gordian Knot of rules and regulations. I exchanged more than 120 emails is 5 weeks where she is either involved or CC'ed. She has been *critical and essential* to moving the transfer from Hiive to my Schwab Roth. Without her the process would have stalled weeks ago.
An example of Harriet's professionalism and involvement: A lawyer reviewed the transfer agreement, which he misinterpreted, causing me to be misled as well. I emailed her with questions. She *called*, not emailed, me to explain why the lawyer was wrong and corrected my misunderstanding. She got me back on track with the process.
Harriet has been the driving force behind the transfer. She knows and anticipates the next steps. She prods the other actors on the status of the transfer. She answers my anxious emails quickly.
I have accounts at Equity Zen and Forge Global. I will conduct my future pre-IPO investments via Hiive whenever possible.

Hiive was able to acquire hard to get asset where many could not. They kept me informed throughout the process and were responsive to my questions. The website is intuitive and process easy. Very happy with the transaction and would use Hiive again.

I invest in private placements through multiple platforms, but I'm particularly impressed with Hiive. I prefer them over others because they bring incredible investment opportunities to the table, and they do so at a very reasonable service fee — notably, they don't take an unreasonable cut of investment returns from their customers.

I'd also like to recognize two remarkable individuals at Hiive who have made a real difference in my experience: Ardi Aaziznia and Harriet Lacey.

Ardi always picks up the phone and answers his customers without fail. He consistently goes out of his way to help, and when he isn't able to answer something himself, he makes sure to redirect customers to the right person.

Harriet Lacey is another individual I'm grateful to work with. She demonstrates a genuine commitment to customer service and leaves no stone unturned when helping resolve issues. When I ran into a problem transferring shares on one of my investments, she worked with me patiently, tried every possible option, and ultimately got the issue resolved.

Overall, Hiive is great platform to trade pre-IPO secondaries! The process to list and buy / sell is straightforward and easy to get started, creating an active marketplace with many buyers and sellers.

That said, the UI is a bit clunky and takes some getting used to. Messages between buyer and sellers can be hard to find or access throughout the process. The transactions are not organized by status other than

The trading process should be more streamlined with deadlines set for buyers to commit to transactions (buyers test the marketplace for better deals or wait for indicators which can drag out the process). There also should be an auto-match (e.g. "buy-it-now") functionality (a few deals slipped through when I was not checking my email) which can be found on other platforms. Some buyers even accepted high share prices because it was not clear they could accept smaller portions of larger listings.

The service team is very responsive and helpful, but are limited by the platform functionality or by delayed responses from the buyers.

The Hiive is straightforward to use. Since I'm a seller, I can only comment on the features I have used. Very easy to list the shares you own. The platform guides you through the process if there is a match, which documents to upload and sign, help you to engage a lawyer for the legal opinion for the transaction if it's required. Hiive is linked with Carta (where my shares are held) so shareholder docs are uploaded with clicks of buttons. The response from Hiive staff is very quick and helpful. The turnaround time mostly depends on the company issuing the shares. The fees aren't the lowest but are transparent. The transaction took a little under 2 months.
