Very disappointing customer service experience

I placed an order with Hickenbick Hair and noticed immediately after completing the order that I had accidentally selected the wrong country (Finland instead of France). I contacted them only 3 minutes after placing the order to ask for help correcting the address.

Unfortunately, despite contacting them as quickly as possible, I was told that nothing could be done because the request was not sent by email. My first contact was through WhatsApp, which is also a communication channel provided by the company, but nobody informed me that order changes could only be handled by email or redirected me to the correct channel.

I contacted DHL and Posti myself to try to solve the problem, and both confirmed that only the sender could make changes to the shipment. The package is now being returned to Hickenbick, and their solution was for me to simply wait until they receive it back before getting my refund.

What disappointed me most was the lack of willingness to find a customer-friendly solution. The package was always going to return to them, and I would have preferred that they resend the same order to my correct address instead of leaving the customer waiting weeks for a refund and having to reorder.

I understand that mistakes can happen, but good customer service is about helping customers find solutions. Unfortunately, my experience was that I had to contact multiple companies myself and received very little support from Hickenbick.

I hope the company improves its communication between departments and handles similar situations better in the future.

Lovely quality hair and the wave is perfect as I have struggled to find a nice ‘wave’ in other products - would definitely recommend

Fast delivery, products are good quality, and natural-looking colours. I’m wearing the ponytail in a heatwave and it feels light and easy! There could be more instructions in the packaging on how to install (ponytail).

Absolutely amazed by the quality I've bought hair extentions in the past from many different company's have to say your products are most definitely the best and I will 100% be purchasing from you guys again. Also delivery was super quick I've ordered from Ireland and that them delivered in less than a week 5☆

This is my first Hickenbick Hair purchase. The ponytail is fabulous. It is soft, easy to put on and looks amazing.

Bought some bright coloured tape in extensions for myself.
I was able to communicate to Hickenbick via WhatsApp twice with questions and they replied in English which was so helpful! Quick shipping to Ireland too and no Customs and Excise as compared to UK sellers . Beautiful quality pieces

Love it so much variety

The quality of this product is unmistakable. I am very happy with it. The colour matches my own hair 99%. The delivery was a bit delayed but that was my own mistake making a mistake on my postcode. The hair is a bit heavy, long and a lot of it so a hairdresser would need to adjust it before the first wear.
If you need an extra density this works perfectly.

delivery was 2-4 days did not arrive in this time so i had to go to another shop and purchase hair. i then had to refuse the delivery so i wouldn't occur postage fees so nearly a week now and no refund still. so no hair no refund wont order again

Be careful if you have to return the product, wether you don’t like it or they sent the wrong product, you still pay the shippingabd the return!!

Product arrived quickly. Great quality, lovely for sure but unfortunately colour doesn't work so requested refund which is now being issued.

Hair arrived fast. To Ireland. Looks really lovely. My first time trying flat keratin extension. So hopefully it will turn out well.
