The Review: "Disappointing coverage from a premium product"

"I have done a significant amount of DIY painting over the years, so I was looking forward to trying Haymes Ultra Premium based on its reputation. Unfortunately, my experience was quite frustrating.
The paint lacked the opacity and coverage I expected from a premium brand. It applied quite thin and streaky, ultimately requiring 4 to 5 coats just to properly cover a standard undercoat—something I’ve usually achieved in much fewer passes with other brands.
While the final finish looks okay now, the amount of extra time, labor, and product required made this a very difficult project. I don't think I would choose to use this particular line again."

Coverage performance can sometimes vary depending on factors such as surface preparation, colour selection etc. In most coverage cases we see its either the new colour that can be an issue or the old colour being more prominent that the new colour.
We would appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your project so our technical team can better understand what may have contributed to the issue.
While we’re pleased the final finish was acceptable, we completely understand your disappointment with the additional labour and product required. Feedback like yours is invaluable and helps us continue improving both our products and customer experience.

I just wanted to thank the staff at the Dandenong store, I have been a Haymes client for many years but today proves to me why I purchase All My Pant and accessories from the zgreg and Steve have always been good to me, they just do those 1% (staff do to always)!
So Just A Big Thank you guys wonderful work during these testing time, And to Haymes you a very fortunate to have these guys. This was a token of my appreciation of the outstanding work this store has always provided.

Their render/color is absolute garbage, and when I brought up a problem they told me I added too much water, then I sent their “lab” a bucket that wasn’t touched and they still turned back the same result , they are liars and add crappy crystals into it too , do not ever use their material , go for dulux

I used haymes texture for a job I done
I used haymes texture for a job I done, the finish was the worst finish I have ever seen, it was patchy and unacceptable, when I called haymes they sent a rep to the site and all they can come up with was that we thinned the buckets onsite. I've been rendering for 25 years and never had this kind of problem, they just put the blame in me to get out of rectifying their problem. I wouldn't recommend haymes render for any project, if there was a star rating lower than 1 I would have put it.
