I recently ordered Sabri Suby's "Sell Like Crazy" book for the $2.99 shipping fee. Right after completing the payment, an additional $197 USD was automatically charged to my card without my consent or clear authorization (sneaky one-click upsell).

I did not receive any order confirmation email, and I have already reached out to support to request a full refund of the $197 USD.

I am leaving this review to request an immediate resolution and full refund. If this is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to finalize the ongoing chargeback process with my bank for an unauthorized transaction.

I would strongly advise any business considering King Kong to do their due diligence before signing anything.

We engaged King Kong after being given very confident expectations around lead generation and performance. Unfortunately, our actual experience fell significantly short of what we believed we were signing up for.

Over the course of the relationship, we spent a substantial amount on Google Ads in addition to King Kong’s fees and the cost of the landing page they built for us. Despite this investment, the results did not come close to the expectations set during the sales process.

One of my biggest frustrations has been the lack of clear accountability when things have gone wrong. I raised a detailed formal complaint setting out my concerns and asking for straightforward performance information, including monthly lead figures and tracked results. Instead of properly addressing the substance of my complaint, I was left feeling that my concerns were being avoided rather than resolved.

Even more concerning, King Kong themselves later acknowledged that the landing page was not performing in line with forecast expectations — despite us having paid a significant amount for it.

I have now cancelled our services within the timeframe King Kong gave me and have escalated the matter through the appropriate channels.

As a small business owner, I understand that marketing can never guarantee results. What I do expect, however, is transparency, accountability and for representations made during the sales process to reasonably reflect the service that follows.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend King Kong.

If you are considering signing with them, my advice would be to keep copies of everything you are told during the sales process, get all performance expectations in writing, carefully monitor your actual lead numbers from day one, and scrutinize the contractual terms before committing.

I genuinely wish I had done more of that before signing.

**King Kong turned a $2.99 issue into a lesson in terrible customer service**

My experience relates to King Kong’s Sell Like Crazy book promotion and its associated customer support.

The book was advertised as “free,” with $2.99 payable for postage. The material 2–4 week delivery estimate was disclosed to me only after I had completed the transaction. I would not have ordered had that timeframe been clearly disclosed before payment.

I cancelled in writing approximately two hours and 24 minutes after receiving the order confirmation, while the order was still described as “being processed.” Nobody responded, so I had to follow up.

Support agent Hazel Vargas eventually blamed an “automated fulfilment system,” said the shipment could no longer be stopped and refused an immediate refund. King Kong apparently believes that the limitations of its internal systems should become the customer’s problem.

I repeatedly asked Hazel Vargas to identify where the delivery timeframe had been disclosed before payment. She continually avoided acknowledging or answering that question. I also asked King Kong to arrange interception, collection or a prepaid return label. That request was similarly disregarded. Instead, I received repetitive, scripted responses referring me to a generic return policy and expecting me to organise the return.

The amount involved is insignificant. The astonishing part is the effort King Kong and Hazel Vargas put into avoiding responsibility for it. A sensible company could have resolved this in minutes. King Kong instead chose deflection, canned responses and persistent refusal to engage with the actual complaint.

For a business that promotes itself as an expert in sales, marketing and customer acquisition, the experience was embarrassingly poor. Taking a payment appears to be considerably easier for King Kong than listening to a customer once it has been collected.

Based on my documented experience, I cannot recommend King Kong. Prospective customers should screenshot every representation, carefully inspect every condition before paying and expect little meaningful assistance if something goes wrong.

One BIG major issue that was never disclosed during the sales process was that all Meta/Facebook advertising campaigns would be run through King Kong’s own Facebook ad account instead of ours. This meant we had limited access to our own campaign data, performance history, and insights. If you stop working with them, you lose access to the data and campaign history built during the engagement, making it much harder to transition to another agency.

Because of this lack of transparency, I would NOT recommend taking a chance on King Kong. This is a critical detail that should have been disclosed before signing the agreement.

We’ve worked with King Kong for our SEO over a number of years, and they’ve significantly boosted our online visibility and search rankings during that time. Their team have worked hard to help us grow our digital presence. We’ve appreciated their support and the results they’ve helped us achieve.

I don't think I've ever seen us make a worst investment then working with King Kong.

We paid 35K for set up.
4K for 3 months of management.
15K in ad spend.

They delivered 1 qualified lead. 62K USD CPL.

The response we got...

Blamed it on the ad manager, accepted no responsibility, and didn't even offer anything when we called them out on the horrendously poor work.

We are a service provider, and have worked with many other service providers in our 10 years in business. I don't think I've even seen such poor customer service and experience.

They promise a 'free book' 3 dollar shipping which I paid, then they send 20 mails to buy more + not shipping the book. If I contact them, they claim not having received the money. Even after I provide the proof.

Paid $30,000 for King Kong to make me a website. They never delivered it.

Can someone from King Kong please contact me urgently.

I just want to give a shut out to Chelsea, Monique and Sabri Suby with their Quantum Growth Program. Their program is not cheap, but it is worth every penny. Within 3 weeks of implementing the program and asking for Q and As weekly. I already see an ROI of 5x if not 10x in 3 weeks.

King Kong splash is below low average it’s really bad

Sabri and Quantum Growth is the real deal. If you are serious about growing your business and want to learn from the best this is the place.

These "intro calls" can often be very sterile with the goal to move you along the chain. Andrew was exceptional in his genuine and sincere curiosity around my needs and business. He was warm, engaging, interested and very helpful.

Absolutely amazing show. Fantastic performance by all well worth the money. Would highly recommend superb. All acts were brilliant.

I just had £150 taken out of my account when trying to order the free book and pay for postage. Despite watching the video that I had to to wait for the free book then it said you are now ready.

I then proceeded and it took £150 out if my account. It didnt even check to see if I wanted to authorise payment and neither did my bank.

As it’s a Saturday not much I can do. Not a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
