My experience
I would not recommend EzyMove based on my experience.
I hired EzyMove to move a relatively modest 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit to a new property approximately 30 minutes away. The unit did not contain major appliances such as a fridge or washing machine, yet the move took 9.5 hours. I was charged $150 per hour plus a $150 call-out fee, resulting in a bill that I found extremely high for the size of the move and the distance involved.
After I raised concerns about the moving costs, EzyMove did provide a $400 discount, which I appreciated. However, even with this reduction, I remained shocked by the overall cost of the move.
I was also encouraged to use their end-of-lease cleaning service with the promise of a discount. I paid $560 for the clean and an additional $330 for steam cleaning three rooms. Unfortunately, key items that would normally be expected as part of an end-of-lease clean were not completed, including the oven, range hood and exhaust fans.
What is most disappointing is that after spending a substantial amount of money across the move, cleaning and carpet cleaning, I was still left with an incomplete end-of-lease clean. I expected a professional service and better value for money.
To be fair, the company did provide a discount after I complained about the moving charges. However, I remain dissatisfied with both the overall cost and the quality of the services provided.
I am sharing my experience so that other customers can make an informed decision before booking.

We also note that your original review was initially left as a 5-star review, and while we respect your right to change your feedback, we feel it’s important to provide context from our side for anyone reading.
Regarding the cleaning, we would like to clarify that the oven, rangehood and exhaust cleaning were not included in the booked scope of works. This was specifically discussed and confirmed on the day directly with Adrian while the cleaners were present, and based on that conversation the team proceeded according to the agreed scope.
In relation to the carpets and cleaning outcome, there were existing pet urine odours and carpet conditions present at the property. While our team completed the booked cleaning services and worked to achieve the best result possible, standard cleaning cannot always fully remove deeply absorbed odours or restore pre-existing carpet conditions where contamination has penetrated beyond the surface.
For the move itself, our team completed the booked works as agreed and all requested furniture and items were moved and serviced in accordance with the agreed scope.
We would also like to clarify that the quantity of items presented on the day was materially greater than the inventory provided during quoting. Based on the information originally supplied, the move was planned and expected to be completed in one load. However, once our team attended and assessed the actual volume of items, an additional load was required to safely complete the move. Accurate item lists and photos are important when quoting because they directly affect truck selection, time estimates and final costs.
We would also note that on the day of the move there was limited lighting available at the property due to power not being connected. Although this created additional challenges and was not ideal from a safety and operational perspective for our movers, our team still continued and completed the move to assist and minimise disruption.
As part of preparing for any move, customers are responsible for ensuring reasonable and safe working conditions at the property where possible, including adequate lighting, access and a generally safe environment for movers and cleaners to operate in. Utilities such as electricity being connected prior to the move helps ensure the safety of both customers and staff and allows the team to work efficiently and carefully.
Additionally, where properties contain significant dust, pet hair, odours or heavily soiled household items, this can affect working conditions and cleaning outcomes. Despite these conditions, our team still attended, completed the booked services and worked through the environment presented on the day.
After concerns were later raised regarding the final cost, despite our team believing the booked services had been completed appropriately and in line with what was agreed, we still reviewed everything internally and voluntarily provided a $300 reduction as a gesture of goodwill to support her personal situation and help reach a fair outcome.
We would also like to clarify that any discounts, refunds or goodwill gestures provided are never conditional on reviews. Customers are encouraged to leave honest feedback, however we also hope goodwill efforts made to resolve concerns are considered fairly.

In less than 24 hours, EZY Removalists arranged for Kai and Fabian to move all my things and they managed to do so in just 2 hours! This included placement of furniture and connecting my washer to the plumbing.
